that neck

sage tendon
#

like phoebe from Friends

pearl elk
#

lol that would be perfect casting for a trump family comedy

sage tendon
#

"The Trump (P)Residents"

pearl elk
#

I watched her keynote at CES I think it was, I was expecting the same 2+2=5 bullshit her dad spouts but she was actually like smart

#

it was a shock lol

#

That Tesla crash is kinda odd aye

sage tendon
#

their stock?

pearl elk
#

The driver brakes way late

sage tendon
#

I didnt knew that full auto-pilot was allowed yet?

pearl elk
#

Its not meant to be full auto-pilot but people keep treating it like it is

#

If this sort of thing keeps up they might end up banning the systems as being too unsafe

#

I guess the driver is just lucky the impact was with the top of the truck not the bottom

sage tendon
#

before they ban it, they should figure out the crash % of Tesla's compaired to human driving

pearl elk
#

The car doesnt even recognize the pedestrian on the side there too, you can see em attempt to kinda get in the cars way but decide against it

sage tendon
#

tho, in this age, emotion is more important than facts

pearl elk
#

so far robots are loosing % wise

#

humans just have too many hours on the road for the automation to match

#

they measure it as incidents per kilometer hour

sage tendon
pearl elk
#

lol how do they know that

sage tendon
#

Im not sure about the US, but in the Netherlands information like these are public

pearl elk
#

oh I see this only compares Teslas it doesnt compare all road users like the stats Ive seen

#

humans are by far less accident prone than all automated cars combined

sage tendon
pearl elk
#

We drive so much further so our accident rate is higher but per kilometer hour its way better, automated cars havent been around long yet they have alot of accidents

#

He is, the article I posted has a quote from the driver

sage tendon
pearl elk
#

Im not convinced we'll see a day where accident rates are improved solely with autopilot

#

I bet fixing potholes will do so much more

sage tendon
#

I think it will improve a lot once we steer away from self-driving roads

pearl elk
#

but thats technically not a road its a train track ๐Ÿ˜›

sage tendon
#

no, i mean, same kind of road, just without cars that doesnt have autopilot

pearl elk
#

having cars communicate is problematic IMO

sage tendon
#

why?

#

it would improve everything

pearl elk
#

lol

#

have a think about what you could do if you wernt a law abiding citizen

#

kidnapping rich peoples kids would be breezy

sage tendon
#

thats already very easy

pearl elk
#

yeah but its not upload a virus and boop easy

#

cars communicating with each other is just a bad idea until we can actually make secure software

sage tendon
#

since the gold standard is gone, it would be easy to wipe out all monetary systems with a virus too, but that doesnt happen either

pearl elk
#

cars are already easily hackable

sage tendon
#

but everything is

pearl elk
#

banks arnt though, vaults arnt connected to the internet

#

for obvious reasons

sage tendon
#

but the stores where you use the debit card at, are

#

how many countries are using PIN systems?

#

or online banking

pearl elk
#

youre not making your point though

sage tendon
#

ATM machines are connected as well

#

Well, its connected

#

security is only working when people dont mess with it

#

look how well the skimming went

pearl elk
#

you cant steal the contents of the shop via computer easily though

sage tendon
#

no, but you can make the system think there is nothing in the shop at all

pearl elk
#

if youre pulling out of your driveway and your car connects to mine its so easy for me to use that channel for other data

#

payments arnt entirely wireless like that

sage tendon
#

no, but push the first domino stone, and the rest follows

#

why do you think its absolutely forbidden to announce a bank run? ๐Ÿ˜„

pearl elk
#

Youre not wrong just saying it doesnt really prove your point about cars intercommunicating being all good ๐Ÿ™‚

sage tendon
#

my point is: everything thats digital (even analog) is easy hackable

pearl elk
#

yeah but my phone cant drive my car

#

yet

sage tendon
#

since the invention of the first lock, no locks have been proven to be unhackable

pearl elk
#

just drive someone off a cliff

#

I think Apple maps already did that though ๐Ÿ˜›

sage tendon
#

lol

#

if you're planning to hijack a autopiloted car, its the same to me as cutting someones break wires

#

doing someone harm is never that hard or complicated if the intention is there

pearl elk
#

Yeah if youre gonna do something like that you'll probably just do it I just think youre ignoring how easy it'll be when cars are driving around talking to everything else on the road

#

cutting brake lines requires access to the car

sage tendon
#

the bottom line in that is, the problem isnt that much for the tech, but for the people with that intention

#

it is and always be a endless cat and mouse chase

#

for example, firewalls

#

since the web came, there is a need for that, and people will always try to find a way

pearl elk
#

I could blow up an armoured car with a rocket launcher but hacking its automation is far more subtle dont you think?

sage tendon
#

i would say its more fun ๐Ÿ˜›

pearl elk
#

exactly so we want people to keep using rocket launchers to blow up vehicles

#

rather than the boring automation hack

#

๐Ÿ˜„

sage tendon
#

did you see James Bond movies?

pearl elk
#

Ive seen a fair few of them

sage tendon
#

then you should've seen the one where Q gives Bond a nice Austin Martin with a smartphone where he could control the car via his phone right?

#

be honest, you wanted that too right? ๐Ÿ˜„

pearl elk
#

Pierce Brosnan, thats the old Q too

sage tendon
#

the only Q imho

pearl elk
#

Thats remote control though not automation

#

and Im pretty sure MI5 would use encrypted channels

sage tendon
#

likely blowfish

pearl elk
#

I doubt they just leave it on normal wifi band for any chump to connect to lol

#

now connecting to... Bonds Aston Martin

#

Thats pretty impressive, vipers are heavy as

#

Im in love with the Koenigsegg Gemera, thats one piece of machine

#

I even like it more than the new ZL1 Corvette

#

it has 2 cup holders per person, 1 hot and 1 cold

#

on the left we have a full symphony and on the right we have a brutalist bunker ๐Ÿ˜›

#

that screen above the wheel, thats for the rocket launchers

foggy path
#

where's all the wood trim

pearl elk
#

we left that in the 80s

#

Im just impressed there is a 1700HP car with child seat anchor points

foggy path
#

About time they catch up with japanese tuners who ran 1000 hp off a GT-R engine in the 90s lol

pearl elk
#

You say that now but Nissan have a new production car on the way ๐Ÿ˜‰

foggy path
#

Yeah didn't they tease a new 370Z

pearl elk
#

400Z I think its being called

#

that new Supra looks alright too

foggy path
#

How much you recon they've downsized the engine thanks to a hybrid powerplant

#

lol

pearl elk
#

Well see the Gemera has only a 3 cylinder 2 litre or somethin but that gives it pretty large pistons compared to a similar litre 4 cylinder

foggy path
#

That's a quite peculiar configuration yeah

pearl elk
#

but they have a new crank system which is just leagues over anything, might even put the new Mazda rotary to shame on performance

foggy path
#

even my car from the mid 2000s has a bigger engine with more cylinders than a Koenigsegg!

pearl elk
#

big engines still go alright, Jeeps are popular with the Hemis for towing

#

Theres not much variation in the race engines though they tend to get more homogenized to keep it competitive or whatever the excuse is. Production cars are far more interesting technically to me

#

that said, this one

foggy path
#

inb4 they loan the only example to top gear and it catches fire

#

:D

pearl elk
#

four rotar but its not a real car ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

foggy path
#

Must have real good fuel consumption figures

#

I mean I've heard they've managed to improve the rotary issue but I don't think it's still that great

pearl elk
#

yeah this Mazda and the Gemera would be amazing especially on richer fuels

#

the main issue with rotary is in racing, they cant accurately match it with a piston engine fairly

foggy path
#

I guess they'd be okay in GT3 tho since they could probably figure out something with the balance of performance system

pearl elk
#

they still have the benefit of power to weight, the crank is quite heavy in racing motors

foggy path
#

yeah so they'd just add a bunch of ballast into it :D

#

that's usually how it goes in GT3 afaik

#

that could be why the Bentley does so well there... it's already big and heavy so it's designed to function like that lol

pearl elk
#

lol well a production Bentley probably looses like 2000kg just on removing the interior trims

#

lots of carbon fiber though, just make the whole car out of it

#

Its so silly we never tried to get into other racing with Holdens, I rekon a locally made GT3 woulda gone over really well with car enthusiasts

zinc matrix
#

god guys

#

gpu fan makes noise

#

HOW TO fix it

foggy path
#

well you got V8 Supercars tho which is pretty cool already lol

zinc matrix
#

i disconnected laptop and opened it BUT it was too hard to disconnect gpu fan

pearl elk
#

I guess the issue was itd always go up against something else GM

#

umm we wont for much longer

#

V8 Supercars was a production car category now its all make believe like NASCAR

#

all the cars are the same, its just a different shell on the require chassis

foggy path
#

really

pearl elk
#

the mustang we race here is larger by a fair bit to fit the sedan chassis

foggy path
#

sounds like they ruined that too then

pearl elk
#

Yeah its looking like a rocky future for the sport

foggy path
#

I wonder if there's any really regulated drifting series lol

pearl elk
#

wish they would let the Hellcats in

foggy path
#

That's pretty much a free for all except I guess nowadays the pros are all running ridiculous hp numbers

#

unlike in the early 00s when you'd still see a near-stock engine AE86 from time to time lol

pearl elk
#

Its actually quite difficult to trace the categories and their evolution, if I wasnt into Rally at all Id be lost as to which group is which

zinc matrix
#

they lied

#

its Overcooked not Ark

foggy path
#

again? ๐Ÿค”

pearl elk
#

who lied, some rando on the internet... and youre surprised?

foggy path
#

Overcooked was already a freebie at some point

zinc matrix
#

Yea this makes no sense

gilded vigil
zinc matrix

zinc matrix

I hope so

pearl elk

zinc matrix

#

and got like 800 on steam

#

lol @pearl elk

gilded vigil
#

and got like 800 on steam
@zinc matrix i got like 15 ๐Ÿ˜ถ

foggy path
#

I think I have like 680 or so in total

#

I installed GOG Galaxy 2.0 and put all my game launchers under it, and that's the number it gave me

#

:D

#

A lot of those are stuff I've got for free tho

#

Probably a fairly small percentage that I've actually bought

#

Or a bunch of extra stuff that I got from a bundle that I bought for one or two games that I was interested in

pearl elk
#

Gog galaxy says I have 665 games

zinc matrix
#

wow

pearl elk
#

Thats a fair chunk of em too cuz its counting my PS4 titles

#

oh man SA police do it again

#

they got an ad about using a car as a weapon, they show a bullet speeding through the air to make the comparison that a car is a 1 tonne weapon except... The bullet still has its casing on it lol

zinc matrix

tough sierra
#

Really an alien invasion >.< No we'd lose in less than a few hours if that.

#

Even just traveling at light speed alone, puts a species so technologically ahead that we'd have no hope.

pearl elk
#

those Hanzo Mains would totally let us down in an alien invasion

tough sierra
#

Imagine fighting off even nano machines.

#

All it takes is one small capsule to start it.

#

Imagine even seeing it coming.

#

Hell na we'd have -100% chance of survival.

#

I still like the motif of the movies, even in impossible odds, one shouldn't give up, cause you really never know.

pearl elk
#

embrace the machine

tough sierra
#

A bio machine at that.

#

Nano machines are actually chemical based.

tough sierra
#

Might even be considered living depending on the designs.

#

They remake spawn?

#

Or whatever that old movie was called.

#

Oh wait that looks more like a terminator.

pearl elk
#

Spawn yeah the todd mcfarlane one but the gif

#

its from Jason X lol

tough sierra
#

Da fuck.

tough sierra
#

What have they done to the franchise.

pearl elk
#

lol Jason X is old

tough sierra
#

Ok then i've not seen them all apparently.

pearl elk
#

Yeah Ron Weasley looks abit different in that last pic ๐Ÿ˜›

#

You saw Freddy vs Jason tho right?

tough sierra
#

Oh yeah years ago.

#

I'd say it wasn't horrible.

#

I've seen some youtube videos going over the AVP comics which turns out was a lot better than the movie.

pearl elk
#

yeah everyone I know whos read the comics says that same thing

tough sierra
#

That new predator movie had me disappointed.

#

Comics in general i find have a lot of gold hidden within them.

#

And i've not read many.

pearl elk
#

yeah it was pretty bad, its a shame because they had a cast which was capable of more.

#

Predators was borderline for me, it worked well. What annoyed me most about The Predator though is they stole the music from the first one and just hacked it together at random moments

tough sierra
#

I wonder if writers aren't normally willing to accept input from others, i'm not experienced to say, my last experience working with a game dev group that had writers, was pretty unpleasant.

#

Ouchy.

#

The plot seemed pretty off to me.

pearl elk
#

See Predator 2 they had the same music acouple of times, or similar music but they played off the concrete jungle thing in the heat, it had that same sticky feeling of Predator

tough sierra
#

I need to go back and watch the original. I only know of the lure through the comics and haven't enough memory of the first movie.

pearl elk
#

Predators tried to capture some of the similarity but I never really got the vibe it was an alien world. They coulda done more with that, like Pitch Black

tough sierra
#

I suspect there's multiple perspectives of their culture. Somewhat.

#

If i find the link to the one youtube video i'll have to link you to it.

#

The AVP crossover.

#

It's really gold.

pearl elk
#

yeah Predators have republicans and democrats ๐Ÿ˜›

tough sierra
#

Ahahaha

pearl elk
#

I did like the end of the first AVP, it was better than the second one

tough sierra
#

How many people these days are just in the "i'm a human, I care for life" boat instead of focusing too hard on politics and forcing in ideals, I sure as shit don't know how to optimize global happiness, it's why I ask a lot of questions.

#

Wait they made a second one?

pearl elk
#

AVP Requiem I think it was

tough sierra
#

Appreciate that.

pearl elk
#

as I said though first one is better, its cool to watch for some more alien and predator but its a braindead story line

tough sierra
#

Aww.

pearl elk
#

12% on rotten tomatoes lol

tough sierra
#

Makes me almost think I could write better movies based off stories, but then again, it's easy to assume stuff about things you've never tried.

#

Oh wow that's pretty low.

#

Game dev has taught me to relax and realize that shit's probably a lot harder to do right than it looks. I've learned to go easy on creators and managers.

pearl elk
#

Im just amazed that these things make it to release, its like how did no one tell you

#

Must be showing the scripts to their mum or somethin ๐Ÿ˜›

tough sierra
#

Aw man i sure as shit used to do that for my old game projects ๐Ÿ˜›

pearl elk
#

"Thats great!"

tough sierra
#

Hell bethesda's been called out for doing the same thing to the fallout series.

#

It's like they missed the real impression the original games had.

#

But I think they still tried.

#

It seems to happen a lot with larger companies that pick up works from smaller studios or such.

#

The C&C series even.

#

Or how... Ah it's called machinima. How that franchise got bought up and shut down.

#

During the height of their content and view counts.

#

Literally went poof over night.

#

I doubt anything under that contract still exists on the open internet anymore.

#

There was a plethora of content to.

pearl elk
#

ahh the old open internet

tough sierra
#

On that note I shared with you the one video that goes over the subjects of mgs2 right?

#

Kinda related.

#

Pointing out the problems of unfiltered content.

#

Basically points out that a lot of our culture has changed since we have fallen away from using traditional media. Not just that we have access to info much easier now, but that we don't have the same filters, and we have a lot less of them at that.

#

The ending of that game is praised for supposedly predicting what is our current situation with social media and debates/discussions.

#

I think they took the idea from another work but.

#

This one.

pearl elk
#

I dunno about that my instagram feed is full of filters ๐Ÿ˜›

tough sierra
#

If you've never seen this.

#

Give it a solid think.

#

It's worth I promise.

#

You and i are both guilty of the sins described here without a doubt.

pearl elk
#

oh boy sins... its been awhile since I committed one of those good and proper

#

is 3 houses over still considered neighbors? His wife was pretty hot tho lol

tough sierra
#

Lol don't get killed.

pearl elk
#

I dont remember the clause in the commandments about killing is okay if someone coveted your wife so I think Im all good ๐Ÿ™‚

zinc matrix
#

only I know

tough sierra
#

Strange, I don't need a premade doctrine to be caring for other life, all I need is the single directive of "respect life".

zinc matrix
#

the truth of this world

tough sierra
#

Though i guess that itself is a doctrine.

#

And it's not out of some sense duty, it's just easier for me personally to get through life being oriented that way.

pearl elk
#

Maybe humans should also go by Asimov's laws of robotics too

tough sierra
#

What's that I wonder.

pearl elk
#

just replace robot with you ๐Ÿ™‚

tough sierra
#

I love how condescending the AI are in that codec call >.<

#

Interesting rules.

sage tendon
#

I dont remember the clause in the commandments about killing is okay if someone coveted your wife so I think Im all good ๐Ÿ™‚
@pearl elk

As they come from mesopatanian times, "eye for an eye" would apply

tough sierra
#

As someone who's formerly likely had empathic disorder, one potentially better perspective is global happiness but then again that's hard to measure.

pearl elk
#

nah its easy to measure... everyone ready?

#

If youre happy and you know it clap your hands... how many people clapped ๐Ÿ˜›

tough sierra
#

Lol

sage tendon
#

That implies people with no hands cannot be happy

pearl elk
#

we can 3d print hands for them to clap with

sage tendon
#

But hand clapping is a distinct sound

tough sierra
#

I love the way conversations go with ya'll.

pearl elk
#

how do you know, have you ever heard the sound of a no handed person clap?

sage tendon
#

Better would b "if your happy and you know it make a short sharp sound"

tough sierra
#

Farts anyone?

sage tendon
#

I have, it was the sound of silence

tough sierra
#

Ah here's a better way to sum up that video. "Memes are currently no longer filtered and lost to time". Thanks to the internet. We have too much garbage data floating around.

#

There's no selection process.

#

And by meme i mean a unit of information.

#

A piece of culture that's passed on.

#

That means there's more responsibility to the individual now than before.

zinc matrix
#

remco

#

omg

#

why

sage tendon
#

Ah here's a better way to sum up that video. "Memes are currently no longer filtered and lost to time". Thanks to the internet. We have too much garbage data floating around.
@tough sierra something you dont want to change tho

#

Anti data discrimintation protection is very important

tough sierra
#

Of course censorship should be avoided and we shouldn't attempt to manipulate information on a massive scale, ideally not at all.

#

At least to my mind

#

But

#

The video gives a loooooooot of things to think about related to this subject.

#

We have real consequences to deal with, we have more responsibility than our ancesters, we aren't yet proving worthy of it to my eyes but hopefuly with time things change.

pearl elk
#

bring back the techno viking

tough sierra

Seriously if you never studied the subject give that video a watch, you'll likely be pretty glad you did.

#

And a bit horrified.

tulip orbit

My project is 4.22, now with the 4.25.1 out, worth upgrading?

tough sierra
#

Nothing amazing to my mind besides chaos physics maybe.

pearl elk
#

isnt Chaos only for custom builds still

tough sierra
#

If you want to upgrade easier might help to avoid BPs and stick to writing most things in plugins.

#

I think so yeah.

#

I couldn't figure out how to use it without doing a custom build.

tulip orbit

The heck do I need to implement bullet in this >.<

#

Having a bunch of stuff close together like that gave me shitty fps easy.

#

Even if it's just static meshes.

#

Even more than a few hundred.

#

This is going into the thousands.

#

Which holy fuck I wasn't expecting that.

#

Though, i've not really tested on this new processor yet.

carmine frigate
#

niagara can do a lot of simple collisions, but those barrels aint bullet accurate

plucky pagoda
#

ugh, Photoshop has been locked for like 10 minutes just from selecting export visible layers as PNG. I must have done somthing wrong no way it should be taking this long.

#

Took over a week for Unity to respond but they actually refunded a purchase and fixed a screw up. I'm a little shocked. Did not expect them to make it right the way things have gone dealing with them the past two years.

tough sierra
#

This is a semi decent 8 core cpu by the way.

#

Though i'm not seeing much improvement from the quad core I had before, this cpu does have better single thread performance though.

#

That's not exactly a ton of cubes.

plucky pagoda
#

You're running it in PIE.

tough sierra
#

I thought niagara wasn't physics related.

#

Should that really matter much though?

#

This doesn't even look to be a thousand boxes.

plucky pagoda
#

Yes. A lot.

tough sierra
#

Hmm alright.

#

Wait i'm not running it in pie

#

It's in viewport.

plucky pagoda
#

Samething. Run it in standalone at the least.

tough sierra
#

Alright.

#

Weird it's not creating it's own window.

#

The results are the same though.

#

I didn't disable rendering yet to check if it's draw calls.

#

I should mention each of those are actors, but their tick is for sure disabled.

#

Oh wait

plucky pagoda
#

...

tough sierra
#

I accidently selected simulate.

#

Sorry am a bit blind >.<

#

Huh not ideal but for sure better. I need to figure out how to set it to show fps for a sec.

#

Ah it's stat da

lyric widget
#

Anyone run a Threadripper with 128GB or more?

tough sierra
#

Actually no difference. There's no way this hasn't bothered the rest of ya. I've always had issues dealing with lots of dynamic physics bodies. Though this project is BP, but that really shouldn't make much difference if any at all. Assuming this is indeed a physics issue.

lyric widget
#

Was wondering what motherboard / RAM was used

tough sierra
#

Holy shit it does seem to be the draw calls.

#

200+ fps out of the gate with the rendering disabled on the cubes.

#

That's not a gpu issue that's for sure a draw call issue.

plucky pagoda
#

I mean you've obviously not optimized the physics setup in anyway so I don't see how you can say it's an accurate example of the physics capabilities of the engine. There's all kinds of things that have to be optimized in one way or another even if it's just tweaking a few settings.

tough sierra
#

I couldn't exactly see how many cubes were actually simulated need to re run this and verify. There's not a whole lot you can do to optimize dynamic bodies though pretty sure. Even messing with the tick rate isn't exactly an ideal solution. Though hell I could be wrong.

stiff crystal
#

yes

#

you can be wrong ๐Ÿ˜„

plucky pagoda
#

I resisted. It hurt a bit.

stiff crystal
#

there's a ton of things you can do to make stuff like that faster

tough sierra
#

615 bodies so far puts it at 90 FPS from previous 300 or 200 ish starting out. I should re learn how to get the exact ms timings. Ideally i'd like a few thousand boxes to be simulatable.

#

That alone, would be good enough.

#

But I mean fully dynamic bodies, as in ideally constantly moving and colliding.

stiff crystal
#

I'll also politely note that fps is not a proper way to measure physics perf

plucky pagoda
#

Start with sub stepping. You can also do things like scale the forces by a factor of ten to reduce the math.

tough sierra
#

Ah sub stepping that's what it's called.

plucky pagoda
#

Physics is painful even when you're use to working with it.

tough sierra
#

Unless i'm mistaken that would increase jitter if the pressure is too high. I'm usually targeting 60 FPS but not any higher at least.

#

Number on the left is the number of invisable physics bodies.

stiff crystal
#

substeps don't make any diff at high fps

#

also they will only make it slower when it adds more substeps :p

plucky pagoda
#

It's more about tweaking how often the simulation is updated.

stiff crystal
#

yes but this is ue4

#

unless you mod it, it runs at least one physics step per tick

tough sierra
#

Kind of an alien concept but I always designed my physics engines to tick rather than step, as in do a full simulation per frame. To make them a lot simpler.

stiff crystal
#

enabling substeps makes it run 1+ physics steps per tick

plucky pagoda
#

I don't think that's true. You can set a min delta time for physics simulations

tough sierra
#

This does show me though that physics will be more a secondary problem, I still have to solve the draw call issue first.

#

Ah what i read about all that.

#

It depends on your current frame rate.

alpine fern
#

what hardware is this running on

tough sierra
#

And it's not super accurate.

#

One sec.

#

Radeon r9 285

stiff crystal
#

@plucky pagoda you can read the pinned message at #legacy-physics which explains how these steps work

tough sierra
#

Despite this being one hell of an upgrade, the draw call issue is identical to the old shitty quad core cpu I had.

#

I suppose for obvious reasons.

alpine fern
#

all these cubes use auto instancing

#

there is no reason for it to be a problem

tough sierra
#

Then the auto instancing isn't ideal.

#

Unless there's something else special about rendering them.

alpine fern
#

of course not, but it should be better than this

stiff crystal
#

anyway, if you really want to have less physics steps, you'd need to have somethings like.. .fixed timestepped physics updates, which would requie a custom engine

tough sierra
#

THis ain't the first time i had issues with the auto instancing thing not ever working, with multiple versions of UE4

stiff crystal
#

I have branches on my ue4 fork that implement this

#

but without that, you can't make ue4 simulate physics at slower rate than your graphics update

alpine fern
#

I made a similar test recently, just a pile of 1000 cubes to see what happens

#

perfectly fine at 120 fps

tough sierra
#

Honestly i've wanted to use a custom physics engine and even fully break out of the UObject thing but it's too much a pain in the ass to dev with, other people don't like that either.

stiff crystal
#

which would be 120Hz physics in that case

tough sierra
#

Are they dynamic?

alpine fern
#

obviously

stiff crystal
#

well, it's not obvious to all

alpine fern
#

it would be pointless to test physics performance with everything sleeping

stiff crystal
#

it's important to realize that ue4 does it like that when you compare it to say, unity which updates physics at 50Hz by default

tough sierra
#

Unless the code for the auto instancing is somehow specific to the gpu, i can't think of what it'd be.

alpine fern
#

running the same test with chaos takes the fps down to 10 though

#

completely beyond me how they can call that production ready

stiff crystal
#

they do?

#

where?

tough sierra
#

Maybe there's a ton of settings to tweak.

#

Also thanks for that note about unity's default rate.

alpine fern
#

pretty sure the 4.25 release notes called it that

stiff crystal
#

I don't see it

#

I only see they mention they used it on FN

tough sierra
#

Am i really the only one getting issues with draw calls?

#

I've had to solve for this in the past even with non dynamic static meshes.

#

By using hisms as a backend.

#

Seriously can't go above a couple hundred meshes without there being issues.

#

The foliage tool works though.

#

Oh

#

I may have forgot to mention all these cubes are AActors.

alpine fern
#

strange

#

where did I see it then

#

my test cubes were all actors too

tough sierra
#

It's not just you who's told me this either.

#

Which is making me lose my mind a bit.

alpine fern
#

there is an issue with occlusion queries related to many meshes

#

if you go over say, 1000 things on screen, turn on r.hzbocclusion 1

tough sierra
#

Disables occlusion processing?

#

This cpu might have 8 cores but it's behind single thread performance by today's standards a bit.

alpine fern
#

uses a different method that has a small constant overhead but is far more efficient at handling many queries

plucky pagoda
#

@stiff crystal The pinned message doesn't address AnimPhysicsMinDeltaTime. Perhaps I misunderstand what that variable is used for.

tough sierra
#

Is it set r.hzbocclusion 1 ?

alpine fern
#

you just write it like that

#

no set

tough sierra
#

That didn't change anything honestly.

alpine fern
#

well you turned off rendering of the cubes

tough sierra
#

Even when fixing the capitals by using tab and retyping the one

#

Na it's back on

alpine fern
#

is this a gpu or cpu bottleneck though

#

start by enabling stat unit

tough sierra
#

I need to remember how to use the tools, in the past it for sure wasn't showing issues with the gpu as far as the ms timings go.

#

But that was with non dynamic bodies.

#

Alright then

alpine fern
#

yeah that's a big oof

#

do profilegpu next

#

writes a lot of stuff to the log

tough sierra
#

Huh i thought there was a UI tool.

#

But that might be better to look at.

alpine fern
#

not in packaged

tough sierra
#

I didn't actually package the game to be honest. Am running in standalone mode though.

alpine fern
#

btw physics processing would count under the "game" time there so you have no cpu bottleneck

tough sierra
#

But that might explain stuff.

plucky pagoda
#

Yeah, I misunderstood what it does I think.

tough sierra
#

At only a couple hundred bodies correct ^-^

stiff crystal
#

@plucky pagoda animations can use separate physics solver

#

it's based on physx immediate mode

tough sierra
#

So i just type in console "profilegpu" ?

alpine fern
#

yes

stiff crystal
#

it's not coupled with regular physics sim

plucky pagoda
#

Yeah, I'm looking at the code now. I didn't read it close enough,

tough sierra
#

Appreciate the patience.

alpine fern
#

so that's not it either

#

is this 4.25?

tough sierra
#

Correct.

#

Same issue in older versions as well. I even did this profile step come to think of it.

alpine fern
#

actually package a dev build

#

then start unreal insights

tough sierra
#

On a related note.

alpine fern
#

and launch the dev build with -statnamedevents -trace=frame,bookmark,cpu -tracehost=127.0.0.1

#

it will reveal what is wasting the time here

tough sierra
#

I noticed looking away from the objects noticeably made the fps jump, though even that gradually declined as objects were added.

plucky pagoda
#

That's one of the problems with being a generalist, things get muddled.

alpine fern
#

does this scene have a stationary directional light?

tough sierra
#

Alrighty packaging it.

#

I believe it does actually.

#

Since it's the default scene.

#

O . O

alpine fern
#

make sure "inset shadows for dynamic objects" (or similar) is disabled or change it to movable

#

this option causes huge overhead on the rhi thread

tough sierra
#

Oh my.

#

Let me guess.

alpine fern
#

just thought of this

tough sierra
#

Stationary lights bake some kind of data even for moveable objects in an attempt to optimize.

alpine fern
#

no, but they default to world's biggest brain shadow rendering method that creates an atlas of individual shadow maps for every affected dynamic object

tough sierra
#

That basically yeah.

#

Which i noticed is really awesome for crappy gpu's.

#

That can't normally handle dynamic lights well.

alpine fern
#

oh they can handle lights just not unreals extremely slow ones

tough sierra
#

Am letting the shaders compile and am packaging the project before changing that hopefully that won't take much longer >.<

alpine fern
#

well just cancel that and check this option first

tough sierra
#

Actually now you mentioned that, i noticed that with the old apu.

#

Alright then.

alpine fern
#

we can still use insights if that wasn't the issue

tough sierra
#

Holy

#

Friggin moly

#

That actually seems to be the reason.

#

I'm rather shocked.

#

I just switched from stationary to dynamic for the directional light.

#

So then, i wonder why hisms combat this issue a lot better.

alpine fern
#

because that's one primitive which means it will do a single per object shadow

tough sierra
#

I'm not far into graphics programming as of yet, you think that means increased draw calls but on the side of dealing with shadows in some way?

alpine fern
#

?

tough sierra
#

I need to get back into vulkan >.<

#

Meh probably an illogical idea.

alpine fern
#

if you want to use a stationary light disable the inset shadows option

tough sierra
#

But ok that does explain a crap ton, am curious how it works with say a few thousand static meshes which are set to static.

alpine fern
#

if they're static then it should work fine

tough sierra
#

Hmmmm.

alpine fern
#

if they're movable (even if not moving) goodbye performance

tough sierra
#

I remember doing 4k grass AActors, I thought I set their collision to not simulate, wait yeah i mean non simualting collision not that they are actually static and bake in shadows.

#

Since they had to be animated and all that.

#

But this is a hell of a start ^-^

#

I'm curious how you found out about that.

alpine fern
#

my game was running like garbage on a map with a stationary light

#

yet the same build ran significantly better with a movable one

#

so the investigating started

tough sierra
#

So basically by accident.

#

I guess people don't like using stationary lights generally fearing them for some reason.

alpine fern
#

stationary lights are useful for combining a static environment with dynamic stuff built by players

tough sierra
#

That seems very true ^-^

#

I personally found them pretty awesome on integrated gpus.

clever thunder
#

Hello

plucky pagoda
#

I ended up going no precomputed lighting on my current project. I don't know why but it just runs faster and lighting is much easier now. I tried to find a good setup with some baked lights and it just wasn't fast enough.

alpine fern
#

that's nice when it is an option

tough sierra
#

Precomputed?

plucky pagoda
#

I didn't think it would be. I tweaked the lighting a lot though.

#

full dynamic. It's an option in world settings

#

Definitely a lot easier.

tough sierra
#

Now if only I can get 4k moving bodies at even just 30 FPS that'd be good enough for a basic small scale singleplayer rts.

alpine fern
#

I hope the lumen thing in ue5 actually works at sensible performance

tough sierra
#

Yeah been wondering about that to.

#

I'm not sure if any of us know if it's ray traced or not >.>

alpine fern
#

I'm expecting to be able to put walls and have a house with dark interior on a bright sunlit map just like that

#

if lumen can't do that it sucks

#

it's not real dynamic gi then

tough sierra
#

@alpine fern Seriously thank you, i've been stalled for years because of that issue and not actually asking anyone to help me fully walk through it.

stiff crystal
#

lumen is not dxr/rtx

tough sierra
#

Dynamic gi?

#

OOOH

#

Global illumination.

alpine fern
#

lumen is supposed to be better than rtx gi

tough sierra
#

So it is a type of ray tracing?

stiff crystal
#

it's a mix of existing techs

tough sierra
#

I've not yet figured out how gi works.

alpine fern
#

no one knows exactly how lumen works yet

stiff crystal
#

well, we know what it does use

alpine fern
#

because they won't tell br_omegga

tough sierra
#

Honestly they probably want to avoid competition ๐Ÿ˜›

stiff crystal
#

To achieve fully dynamic real-time GI, Lumen has a specific hierarchy. "Lumen uses a combination of different techniques to efficiently trace rays," continues Wright. "Screen-space traces handle tiny details, mesh signed distance field traces handle medium-scale light transfer and voxel traces handle large scale light transfer."```
tough sierra
#

After watching the conference vid about ps5, i see why they pushed for their rendering to be like that. (as far as the vertices thing goes)

stiff crystal
#

I totally expect that tech to not be perfect fit for all projects

#

like, all techs have their weaknesses

#

and this combines 3 different GI techs

#

at least I expect to see a lot of artifacts

tough sierra
#

Wait voxels?

#

Is this what carmack was pointing toward?

stiff crystal
#

voxels can mean like... svogi

#

DFGI was a thing before too but got canned

#

and SSGI already exists in unreal

#

SVOGI existed on UE4 before it's launch

alpine fern
#

ssgi is very slow

tough sierra
#

He mentioned something about cubed geometry instead of triangles being in theory a lot more performant to render if hardware was designed around it.

alpine fern
#

hopefully it was significantly optimized if it's involved in lumen

#

it's strange how gpus are designed for triangles even though most people try to make their models with quads

stiff crystal
#

added the latter part to that quote too

#

it tells about combining these things

tough sierra
#

I need to find the article you all might find it interesting being more into gfx programming.

#

This is old.

#

Found it.

#

Reading this a week ago kind of inspired me to try learning how to make my own graphics engine.

#

Maybe there's still possibility spaces to explore.

tough sierra

I'ma try a simple game concept and actually release the damn thing this time >.<

#

#

I think something that could be interesting is voxels

#

If you had a voxel optimized GPU especially

lucid walrus

USA's problem with their police is the same as their problem with politics... lack of education

#

(Because their many huge corporations, which owns most of the country, wants it that way.)

fluid bloom

well, yes that's what I meant. Don't know why I said training ๐Ÿ˜„

lucid walrus

I doubt that's it in this case

it's a full blown bachelor's degree

lucid walrus

that's why I said corporations are the root cause

foggy path
#

yeah the US situation is stupidly complicated, probably much of it is caused by past mistakes and stuff

this is also kind of why I somehow don't trust anything is going to change even this time around

mossy nexus
#

I've used 7-Ups

foggy path
#

tbh this hit detection system feels insanely kludgey but I have no idea how to do it in a way that wouldn't make it insanely complicated to set up the sprites :p

#

it basically uses a scene capture and re-renders the sprite using a mask texture that is then used for the hit detection based on what color the mask is at the hit point from the render target...

north torrent
#

Life is insanely complicated.

foggy path

I wonder if I could get an Actual Unreal Expert โ„ข๏ธ to suggest a better solution for like 10 bucks or something lol

zinc matrix
foggy path
#

this is just a silly project so not exactly budgeted massive amounts of money for this lol

north torrent
#

If I knew anything about sprites I would tell you.

#

Looks like Velcro took my advice.

foggy path
#

I think it's more of a question about shaders and rendering ๐Ÿค”

#

it's technically similar to using a stencil buffer I guess, because with the custom stencil pass you can write a color into the stencil buffer during the normal rendering pass

#

but it's limited in a way that you can't choose which parts of the mesh render what color into the stencil, you just choose the color for the whole actor

#

if I had a way to draw any color I want into the stencil from my shader for example, then I could draw the hit areas into the stencil buffer, and perhaps there's some way of reading that information

#

but I don't really know that much about how that stuff works, that's just my best guess about a more "optimal" way of doing it

#

because this is how the sprites have their hitboxes defined, they basically just have a colored mask for each individual sprite

zinc matrix
#

@north torrent others say im dumb for doing that

north torrent
#

That's cool.

#

@north torrent take the credit

north torrent
#

Sounds like a plan.

fathom wadi
#

I haven't been able to use twitter since George Floyd tbh. My timeline went from "hey look great unreal engine work and other amazing dev stuff" to "white ppl be like..... <insert insulting racial division statement here>" and I have two options. Get into the argument with people, or let them be angry and insult white people in the name of racial diversity. Seems ass backward to me but there you go.

north torrent
#

If you are a straight, white, male then there is no place on social media for you. Might as well just go right back to working on or playing games.

zinc matrix
#

i demand everybody have at least rtx 2060

#

so i have a target group i can sell to

north torrent
#

You can't demand anything.

fathom wadi
#

@north torrent I've no problem with leaving social media tbh. It still bugs me that I get treated that way. Especially when I am told to shut up and that my opinion means nothing because im white.

#

im only white on the outside ffs.

north torrent
#

On social media everything you have ever done good at or earned during your life is because of your straight, white, maleness.

If you don't bow down and confess that everything you have worked for in your life isn't 100% just you getting white privilege handouts, then you might as well be wearing a Nazi armband.

foggy path
#

Y'all follow the wrong accounts if your timelines are full of that garbage :P

fathom wadi
#

I have fuck all and im white and worked hard for the past 20 years. Could use some of that privilege about now.

#

@foggy path I only follow game devs usually. The occassional movie star

foggy path
#

I just started unfollowing people who tweet that stuff and hey look twitter is suddenly tolerable

fathom wadi
#

I have the word "Trump" in my banned list, but he still gets through

foggy path
#

time to start unfollowing people who talk about that in such a tone then :D

#

although there is definitely a significant amount of that stuff going on right now even from the accounts that I didn't unfollow, but most of them are sensible people and don't talk out of their arses

north torrent
#

But some rich white guy got out of prison after raping a girl, so that means that you, also being a white guy must be benefiting from that privilege.

Makes sense, doesn't it?

foggy path
#

Frankly they're not entirely wrong about it imo but it's not really something you can do anything about so there's no reason for you to take those kinds of comments personally

fathom wadi
#

My wife has a similar thing with people telling her she should teach her sons NOT to rape. And my wife is like "wtf?"

#

social media tho. full of crazy people

foggy path
#

Do you know what they mean with "teach to not rape" though?

fathom wadi
#

yeah. they didn't think out the argument well enough

foggy path
#

I mean it doesn't literally mean to teach them "rape is bad mkay"

alpine fern
#

the whole business model of social media is to spread the crazy viewpoints as far as possible because it will generate the most interactions

north torrent
#

It is a problem with the platform itself.

foggy path
#

the "teach not to rape" is a very valid point, but the phrase is just really... cringy, painful and misleading on the surface

#

so it gets insanely knee jerk reactions as a result

north torrent
#

We need to not let useless idiots like Mark Zuckerburg run something that so many people are using.

fathom wadi
#

I just want Twitter for game dev really. Maybe we need our own social media. Called "NoRoyaltiesPlox"

foggy path
#

honestly just unfollow people who RT that stuff, you'd be surprised how much better it is :D

north torrent
#

For profit social media sites should be illegal.

fathom wadi
#

Facebook is actually a lot calmer recently. Twitter is just 100 miles an hour crazy tho

foggy path
#

part of the problem is that twitter is only good enough for really short comments so people can't really explain the deeper meaning behind something

fathom wadi
#

yep

north torrent
#

I just don't know the name of the idiot in charge of Twitter. But he should be forcibly removed from his company.

He can take his money and leave. If he doesn't comply we can throw him in a jail cell.

fathom wadi
#

Jack Dorsey is his name. The guy creeps me out

alpine fern
#

who do you want to run it if not a private company? trump?

foggy path
#

the other problem is that if you try to engage in a discussion, you generally won't get good results if you ask questions because there are so many trolls

#

and they often play the "I don't understand" card

north torrent
#

A non-profit organization.

foggy path
#

so legit people who want to understand it better get grouped with the trolls very easily

fathom wadi
#

@foggy path this is why I keep it for gamedev only. You dont need 128chars, or whatever, to type LMGTFY :p

foggy path
#

lol yep

north torrent
#

What you just described, Mr. Zomg, is a platform that is flawed beyond repair...

feral imp
fathom wadi
#

hah jokes on them.... I dont use a mobile phone

foggy path
#

Yeah I got that Currents email from Google too

#

I'm like.. Google+ still exists?

#

:P

feral imp
#

ya, I got that email and figured I'd post it lol. I just find it funny that after failing in their social platform google+ they've basically just rebranded it and made it a paid clone of discord/slack

fathom wadi
#

They should have just bought out another social media system tbh. I want google to have a good setup as we are all integrated with google logic now.

feral imp
#

I mostly use my own services now, however I do like their domain management platform. I can propagate dns changes every 60seconds as opposed to 72hours

median wraith
#

@fathom wadi why you told that to the guy at Facebook ? Next time tell he have to buy windows

fathom wadi
#

@median wraith which one?

median wraith
#

the one that cannot compile

fathom wadi
#

I didn't notice he was on linux. But then there is no reason he can't compile on linux. Unless you mean he has win7?

median wraith
#

"Unreal engine 4.25 "Very" High quality movie render (Denoise) in 4 hours 4K resolution"

#

what the hell

#

@fathom wadi is on windows but have windows without license

fathom wadi
#

dont most people?

north torrent
#

Who is going to play Total War Troy?

fathom wadi
#

Not me.

#

I used to enjoy total war games buy they turned into something so over-complicated, it feels like you need to read an book to get a heads up on how to use one thing.

#

and the manual isnt in game. so you alt tab all the freaking time

north torrent
#

Easier just to hit buttons and get it wrong.

median wraith
#

I have to duplicated the source files of my lib for C# projects cause don't allow to include files without import it, who designed this ?

zinc matrix
#

anyone know if openpose is excellent good lip sync?

#

@north torrent Probably because a lot of straight men online and in the world have repressive views and some white men are still racist

#

The demographic is more likely to be taken seriously than others

north torrent
#

And the ones that are not racist and want to support a cause like Black Lives Matter are ridiculed and pushed out of the cause.

#

Turning away allies is not a good way to run a movement.

#

The Bernie Sander's supporters learned that one the hard way. Bernie himself deserved better than the way his supporters acted.

zinc matrix
#

there's a motto going around where white silence is compliance. These white people may have gotten something wrong but I read on a chat outside of discord that sometimes it's only white men whose struggles get written about

north torrent
#

I don't think that is true in any way, shape, or form.

fathom wadi
#

@zinc matrix thats no excuse to dismiss a white person's opinion tho right?

#

I mean I have worked towards changing the minds of racists for the past 25 years or so, but my opinion doesn't matter because someone else is racist. Makes sense.

zinc matrix
#

I think people are fucking pissed that white men just have power and that non-white people have no power

fathom wadi
#

I think its silly to presume only white men have power

zinc matrix
#

Men who hold repressive views hold power

fathom wadi
#

In the world of global corporate menageries, colour doesn't matter. Religion doesn't matter. Only the forwarding of the new world order matters. They don't care if you are purple tbh. The world is a business.

north torrent
#

There is nothing someone can say about me and my race or gender that is going to offend me.

But if people are going to gatekeep and tell me I can't be part of their cause unless I bow down, call myself a piece of shit, and admit that everything I have earned in my life is because of white privilege then I will just stay silent.

I will stick to punching Nazis and anti-tRump rhetoric on my own and not be part of your group.

fathom wadi
#

I completely agree with that

#

Im not wasting all my own efforts on stupid people who are as discriminatory as those they oppose

#

It's equality or bust for me.

zinc matrix
#

I'm personally more worried about religious fundamentalists and companies getting all the power myself

fathom wadi
#

companies have all the power

#

the world is a business Mr.Beale

north torrent
#

Divide and conquer has always been an effective strategy to keep the poor and working class in check.

I won't do it. I won't be part of it. I won't be supporting any group that wants to start comparing who has it worse like it is some sort of competition.

Well I didn't have a dad growing up... Well my parents were so poor that blah blah blah... Well somebody did blah blah blah to me... Well I didn't get this job because blah blah blah...

Fighting for justice isn't a coemption for who had it worse.

zinc matrix
#

keep copeing

#

As someone who is not white and for whom race is a secondary concern compared to gender and religion, you might not get much from me if you wish to debate me. I can at most make inferences based on what I've read from others.

fathom wadi
#

at least you are allowed an opinion

#

I get shot whenever I put an opinion up that isn't about straight white male stuff. Like recent with the racial issues. Cant say my piece because im white. I defend trans rights and try talk people around, but im not allowed to do that because im not trans. It gets tiresome trying to fight for those who do not appreciate the effort.

zinc matrix
#

@rigid shoal try waiting a little bit maybe?

fathom wadi
#

@rigid shoal often windows updates break stuff. Not had it so bad for a while (one update did what you said) but I keep backups and ghost images so im all good

rigid shoal
#

I just had to restart it again. Weird.

north torrent
#

I'm still frustrated with how it is 2020 and Windows still can't do Bluetooth right.

zinc matrix
#

am on ayymd, so ๐Ÿคท

fathom wadi
#

thats because nobody needs bluetooth anymore

north torrent
#

I do.

rigid shoal

Everything Apple is going Bluetooth. No more wires for anything.

fathom wadi

Hi Random Recruiter Guy,
I'm sorry your reading capability doesn't go as far as to read the words "Unreal Engine Developer" on my C.V. but good luck finding someone for your Unity project. Perhaps try the slackers discord for UE4.
Yours sincerely, Not a Unity dev.

zinc matrix
#

so do I but Ubuntu in my recent experience is worse with Bluetooth. Must be proprietary firmware though

fathom wadi
#

@north torrent bluetooth is wifi for old hat hardware :p

north torrent

fluid bloom

shame

north torrent

I could probably switch to a Finland vpn.

#

Not sure how common those are...

#

Never seen wifi headphones and a wifi mouse, Mr. Rogerson.

zinc matrix
#

God I wish I could use a wireless gaming mouse but I have no income and potentially more important shit to worry about and use my money on in the future

fathom wadi
#

@north torrent you have never seen wifi keyboard/mouse?

north torrent
#

Never.

fathom wadi
#

@zinc matrix I have a great wire on my mouse, gives me 100% freedom

zinc matrix
#

I have a small table so the cable gets dislodged to the right edge frequently

fathom wadi
#

I keep my cable propped up under a CD case. But it's a flexible cable, made with fibre rather than a plastic covering. So it moves well.

#

its the Roccat Kone EMP mouse if you care to check. Got it for a larger gaming hand

zinc matrix
#

I'd rather not bend my cables too much in case they break

north torrent
#

I just don't want cables.

zinc matrix
#

Also the gaming mouse I have is suffering from double click syndrome at times now too (may be the game but I can't be too sure)

fathom wadi
#

I would use wireless mouse/kb if it got it's power from the air, Tesla style.

zinc matrix
#

Ideally I'd ditch cables too even for my keyboards but I need to stop buying shit for a while until I get a source of income.

north torrent
#

With a desk that has a keyboard tray, I don't mind the cable. I use a wired keyboard at the moment.

With my old desk when I would move the keyboard when I wanted to draw, having a wired keyboard was a pain.

pearl elk
#

Man I would totally love to have what Kayne West, Drake, Dre, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Ice T etc has

fathom wadi
#

I have a mouse tray on my desk. So I can sit a nice armchair in front of it and get a perfect mouse position

pearl elk
#

is there a white privilege number I can call to rectify this situa tion?

fathom wadi
#

you could say that 911 is the white privilege number considering you have a chance to survive the call if you are white.

zinc matrix
#

I don't exactly praise celebrities because they benefit from restrictive copyright law

pearl elk
#

lol I could call 911 but I dont think the US police travel over water ๐Ÿ˜›

zinc matrix
#

Which I think only benefits the rich

#

112?

pearl elk
#

its 000 here

zinc matrix

or 999 if you're here in the UK?

fathom wadi
#

000 makes more sense for when you stub your toe and need to tell someone

pearl elk
#

I survived a 2hr drive without being pulled over though, pretty sure they caught other white guys tho ๐Ÿ˜›

north torrent
#

Copyright and Patent laws all need to be reworked in the digital age.

zinc matrix
#

I sometimes hate how the UK just wants to do shit differently from everyone else

fathom wadi
#

I say tag everything digital with irrefutable, irremovable, watermarks. It's the only way

#

@zinc matrix I hate how the UK is a corporation and even when the majority of the people dont want the current government, they fiddle their way back in

zinc matrix
#

Became a naturalized citizen here with my family and I'd say it's better than the Philippines in at least a few key respect - more socially liberal and better quality of life.
Otherwise I want to move to Canada. Initially the US but I hate US politics. I also hate how the UK wants to be like the US too sometimes

pearl elk
#

I also learnt something new yesterday, the X in Faux is silent ๐Ÿคฏ

north torrent
#

I am looking to get a second passport for when the US implodes.

fathom wadi
#

I dont have a problem with how I live my life here. It's way better quality than most of the world. I just hate the obvious political scammers, the corporate decisions, the lack of democracy and the whole fucking shitshow tbh. ๐Ÿ˜‰

north torrent

First time you ever used the word, Mr. Olympus?

zinc matrix

@pearl elk its a faux X then?

I don't want to go to Aus or NZ specifically because of geography

I dont want to go there because of snakes and spiders

pearl elk

the isolation?

Yes and the fact that relatives can reach me. We may have some, uh, disagreements
