nope, but she did get her sister to tell me my daughter wasn't mine, so I never met my daughter until she was 8. Then when she was 10, she made my daughter stop seeing me. Over the next 4 years, she made my daughter's life hell by coming back, saying sorry and abandoning her for a guy several time. My daughter actually got numb to it all. There was a whole court case too where I pressed for full custody. Her mother never even showed up.

The simple answer is that, currently, no one is sure whether plants can feel pain. We do know that they can feel sensations. Studies show that plants can feel a touch as light as a caterpillarβs footsteps. But pain, specifically, is a defense mechanism.
