Like lets say you are playing as a character that finds it hard to be nice to people. If you try to click on an option to make him be nice, the button might try to run away from you.
Or if you are dealing with a character that is overly excited, the dialogue choices might start swaying back and forth on you, making you have to time it in order to get the choice you want.
Or maybe it will shoot things at you while you try to select a dialogue choice.

Not your generic voiceless player character, but like you are stepping into the shoes of this character, personality quarks and psychological trauma and all.

We have had more performance issues with Unreal than when we used Unity. Also, more difficulties with things like reflection probes that had way more control in Unity... also the lack of AO drives me nuts.
But on the flip side, our graphics fidelity is up somewhat, and since we do not have any coders, Blueprints are amazing and Datasmith is really neat too.
(We also only do commercial applications.)

you need to set the collision on your swords to ignore the player, look into making custom collision channels/types for your "projectile" type

I technically have videos on collision and one deals with stuff like this, only allowing certain things to pass so its the same concept. Your sword projectile would ignore the player basically so it would not cause your issues

I found a nice host with heartinternet.uk . Been using them since 2009 and never had issue with them. Not the cheapest but I had some bad hosts previously. Last time I tried to make a bullet hell thing I spent 3 days trying to figure out what was causing this pixel stepping. Then I watched the recorded play back frame by frame and realized there wasn't any stepping. It was an illusion created by the way the eye sees motion.

depends of course. Some people will work for cheap, some won't work for less than their worth. Some will work for free because they don't realise their own worth. And some will convince you that you will get royalties that never turn up.
