the 970 was decent but going from my VR testing specifically, the move to a 1080ti gave me around 50% fps increase and I was only just hitting 90fps on a 970. Where it really shined though was when it was upscaled. The 970 shat itself but the 1080ti can go way beyond 200% without much drag

so if you can shrink the input file its possible the amount of allocations on the system ram may lower, let you get by

@zinc matrix yeah at that time I was only a Flash coder though. Actionscript isn't really thought of as real coding :p So I learned Unrealscript and eventually C++ with UE4. I would say anyone can do it, but only if you really want to as its a real grind. My first 6 months coding anything was a journey into confusion I would not like to repeat.
In fact I wanted to refactor everything I had done in that first 6 months.

The 8 year old is like me and that makes it easier. She just gets things really fast. Taught her self to read at 5, which I did the same thing. It was kind of cool to watch.

yeah the internet is great for that. We barely had to do any reading, just a few things early on to get going. They pick it up so quick now. I still remember my mother teaching me to read before I went to school, and when I got there I could read a novel. My first was Call of the Wild. They were flabbergasted and tested me. well these days you can upscale better than in the past so it depends, are you talking about now or the 90s?
because now days you could use simple substance materials then upgrade them over time and your game will magically start looking better. With meshes the method tends to be make a mesh 10x better than you could possibly run then dial it back lol
I find with gameplay though its difficult to leave some features out unless you have some sort of tiered system because of the interconnection between them.

You have to be careful with it. If you don't understand at least a little about the language you are trying to translate into then it can really be bad.
Over time I've been able to get better at using auto translate into Chinese by changing the way I word the English I input into it.

Shenzhen is located in Guangdong but mostly made up of immigrants from the north who moved there to start businesses in the Special Economic Zone.

But contrary to the US stereotype that they eat odd things to be cheap, it is actually the opposite. The weirder the meat the more expensive. They would never give you cat secretly to substitute chicken when they could sell cat to a niche market for 10x more money. Chicken is super cheap.
