So there's a lot of places that are touristy and a lot that are pretty unknown

Tbh "la banquise" is a name you're gonna hear being thrown around ALL the time when discussing visiting the city
Its a poutine place that is ngl very good imo but you gotta be prepared for the wait

As a local tho I would say that my go to's for poutine is "frite alors" which is less popular but there's many locations depending on where you'll be staying

I'm gonna be staying in Verdun but planning on spending a lot of time in Montreal proper. Are there any other places you'd recommend? Well not gonna lie downtown is pretty cool but can also be skechy so I really dont know at this point

A lot of places you'll see a lot of homeless people and sportscars right one to the others

But most places are tame

The north of the city is usually sketchier

Its montreal is too expensive you can also find accomodations in laval and take the metro, its a connected line so it doesnt change much more than just being 25~30 minutes more metro

You can check the transportation publicly available on google maps by planning like where you're going from where and its usually pretty accurate

The metro is pretty chill you can take any line and it wont take you more than an hour, i really dony know which stations are the best to park but where I live we have station Cartier right next and the parking on a tuesday night should be super chill

Do you know approximately how long it takes via metro? I should arrive at like 6:40 depending on the traffic and all. Hey chat! I’ve developed some health issues in the last couple weeks I’ve been working out with my doc and I’m not sure it’ll be resolved by the time the show rolls around. If any of you have been to the venue before I’d love to know if there’s anywhere to sit around the GA area. I’ve developed some blood pressure issues that require me to sit down and rest at times to not risk passing out. Thanks

Even the upstairs are just standing tables I went there to see madeon in 2019 and I was really suprised
