#VRAM Clocks NOT Dropping RTX 5080

Hello People,

my MSI RTX 5080 Gaming Trio will not change Memory Clock speeds....
it does'nt matter if i'm ingame or just watching my static desktop wallpaper, I've checked the nvidia app for Power managment but its set to "normal".

The Memory Clock is always at 15001Mhz, no matter if Idle or under Load.

The core clock of the card works Completely fine, it hovers between 210Mhz (Idle) and 2850Mhz (Load)

Specs:
Ryzen 9 9800x3d
MSI x870e carbon wifi
32GB DDR5 6000Mhz
MSI RTX 5080 Gaming trio

1x 3440x1440 ultrawide Main display 144hz
2x 2560x1440 Side Displays 144hz

What I've tried so far:

  1. removed all Overclocks/Undervolts, still the same.

  2. Reinstalled Drivers with DDU, still the same

  3. As mentioned above I checked for Power Management Mode, its set to normal, still the same

  4. Switch Between "Silent" and "Gaming" bios of the card, still the same

The only Thing that changed was the 2 Side Displays, they were 100hz before and I switched them out to 144hz 2 days ago, if this is in fact the cause of the clocks not dropping and its not Harmful to the Card, I can live with it.

It's pretty likely - once the amount of display pixels pushed per second get high enough VRAM clocks cannot stay low

(See what happens when you drop all monitors to just 60Hz... it'll probably drop accordingly)
