I updated to this driver from version 576.88 and had no issues until I started playing Fortnite. There would be random strings of textures flying around in certain areas of the map and some of the shadows would start glitching. I'm running on an RTX 5090 and 9800x3D with 64GB of RAM on Windows 11. I have it set to the highest settings possible with Lumen on epic and with hardware ray tracing on. DLSS is on balanced with no override. Reverting back to version 576.88 fixes this problem but I want to know if anyone else was having this issue because I cannot find anything else about it.

If you have any issues with your graphics card after updating the Nvidia drivers, please perform the following:
- Remove the existing Nvidia driver by running Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) here: (AutoDDU can be told to use a custom driver link, or you can use the manual version located here.). For a utility to automate DDU as much as possible follow this guide.
- You can download drivers from the official site below. (You will need to specify your GPU and operating system.) On a laptop, both iGPU and dGPU drivers should be installed for full functionality and performance.
- Ensure that your WiFi/Ethernet/Internet is turned off or disconnected before installation of the driver (Running the .exe file) to prevent Windows Update from overriding the driver installation.
- Disconnect all other monitors (except one main monitor) and all unnecessary USB devices before driver installation to prevent device conflicts or black screens.
- During driver installation, please select the Custom option when prompted and ensure that Peform a clean installation is checked/ticked before proceeding with the installation.
- Please restart your computer after the driver installation is completed.
After further testing it seems to only happen when nanite virtual geometry is on with the 581.08 driver. I've used DDU twice to uninstall and reinstall another driver and this driver to see if that would help but the issue still persists with the most recent driver. The game will also sometimes crash right before landing onto the map in BR and I'll get a notification from the NVIDIA app saying the the program ran into an error. I'm going to test this on another computer with the same conditions to see if this is truly an issue with the driver and nanite in Fortnite.
