#Max FPS setting in NVCP won't go above old value?

I originally set the global max FPS setting to 158 via the NVCP, however some games (more specifically RDR2, Spiderman Remastered and CP2077) still abide by the old value even when increasing it or removing it altogether. The weird thing is that If I set it below 158 they actually respect the new value, it's just than anything over 158 gets disregarded.

It's definitely nitpicky and a non-issue, but still, slightly annoying if I ever wanted to go above that framerate. Has anyone ever had this happening?

It's worth noting that other games, like Rocket League or Escape Simulator, can go above the original 158

Is your monitor 165Hz, vsync is on, and NVIDIA Reflex is On?

If all of the above apply, there's your answer. Reflex implies a FPS limit if you didn't set another one that's lower than what it decides. This limit will be slightly below the refresh rate.

The three games you mentioned all support Reflex

I do have NVIDIA Reflex on for Spider-Man, I don’t think I do for the other titles. I’ll check it out, thanks

Do also be aware that Low Latency Mode turned on to Ultra may also cause the same behaviours

Just tried turning off FG for Spider-Man, which allowed me to disable Reflex and lo and behold I was able to go over 158, so that was it, thank you

I'm getting the full 160 on RDR2 as well (which is my global nvcp fps cap)
