i hit record and played a bit of a game, then hit stop recording. so this isn't the playback feature that captures x amount of time in a replay fashion, but it's a straight up manual start to end recording.
i tried to find the file but it's nowhere to be seen.
yes i checked where it tells me the file is, but it's not there.
it's meant to be in C:/users/(name)/local/temp something, but isn't. when i followed vids or googled the default location, the thread was similar to what i'd seen on my file path, but physically inside the final folder was different. i have like 35 folders in that folder titled shit like: "UHHJJDKSPBHJ28248" and they're recent but are text files when i go into them, or have no content at all... no video to be found
it didnt look to me like there was any problems making the recording itself, it looks like it saved just fine, but WHERE, i am not sure...
when i lost the file i changed the save path for next time but can't find where the old one was meant to lead me.
it's also not in my nvidia gallery, though I'm not sure if it was ever meant to be.
i'm horrible at navigating files and folders as it's so overwhelming seeing so many listings...
it SAYS saved
it SAYS recording/ stopped recording
but the files are nowhere to be found

contents of "Temp" as you can see, it doesn't have Highlights
i also tried changing the path to something simpler for recordings specifically, but when i made test videos
it made this, but inside are just text files i can't open.
i found my test video, in the NEW location, but cant find my original gameplay recording in the original location as it doesnt seem to exist. it would have been what the default is, but i googled and watched vids as i said, and i cannot find it.
it's empty.
