pc shut down and stopped working and I sent the gpu to repair shop and told me the card has a crack in the gpu die, I am wondering how could it crack while gaming like I didn't even touch it, also it's very small , I really wonder how I can check if the gpu die is the fault.

Late reply but whats up with all that paste, like a kindergartener decided to play with the thermal paste, that flaking shouldnt affect it, its what underneath thats the damage. Also you didnt open the gpu first to take pictures, so the repair guys coulda messed up when opening your gpu since it must have been stuck tight with the thermal pads wasted like chewed gum and the paste gluing things together. Sometimes is best to watch disassembly gpu videos and replace the thermal pads yourself once a year if you are a 2k-4k user.
Shitty answer, but you’re fucked more or less. There are shops that do more higher level repairs and can replace GPU dies, but I would research this, reach out, and get a quote
