hi i just got a 3050 for christmas and downloaded the app and everything is working besides for the vr it says i dont have the recommended specs "desktop geforce gtx 970 or higher" and i have a 3050 idk if this is a bug or my thing isnt working correctly or im just dumb

Late reply, but this is normal. VR Ready certification is not on the 3050 for some reason, so it's like that.
In practice, though, most VR headsets should work fine with it, as the minimum recommended VR spec is equivalent to a GTX 970, where the 3050 Desktop is at least 50% faster. Of note is Meta's VR headsets, which specifically call out the 3050 is perfectly fine.
Fair warning: if this is a laptop 3050, then you are below spec!
