Discord screenshare / streaming does not work | Linux Gaming | Page 1

Distro: Arch

Packages installed: discord, discord-screenaudio-debug

Problem: Cannot screenshare / stream on discord.

I use wayland and OBS works perfectly fine, no problem whatsoever. When it comes to discord though the best i can do is "stream my screen", which then ends up simply streaming my cam. I went through the manual arch and i can't seem to be able to make anything work. I went through various reddit posts and it seems like nobody has an answer on how to fix anything discord related? I'm simply lost and would really appreciate some help : )

I recommend using Vesktop or Webcord

if you deslike Flatpaks, try to find them using the AUR or something

I tried vesktop, works great and all, no complaints, but I am still unable to stream or screenshare. Screensharing does not work in the browser either
