Hi, unfortunately my ISP decided to "upgrade" my modem just as BG3 released, so now I dont' have internet at home, so I managed to download the game on my Steam Deck instead, and I then transfered the game to my PC, thinking it would have all the required files, but when I verify the installation in Steam (I'm tethering from my rate limited mobile data plan) on my Windows PC, it verifies ~70GB and decides it needs to download a new 30GB.
Am I wrong in assuming that it should be an identical version on Windows / Linux?

Any tips?

steam being steam. What you did SHOULD work but every once in a while it just decides to redownload the whole game anyway because dumb.
