I’m currently in a ranked game, but I’ll happily take a look in just a bit. I can’t necessarily do a live vod review as I’m on vacation, but I’ll take a look and point out some glaring issues. Give me about an hour and a half to get something written up for you.
First, I want to talk about your sensitivity. I see you’re switching over from console, and you’re likely trying to figure out what works for you. I had the same issue. I’m not usually one to comment on sens because it’s personal preference, but you’re very clearly fighting with your mouse to get it where you want it. Consider doing some readjustments to where you can comfortably do a 360.
I’m going to pretend the first fight didn’t happen because your tank disconnected, but around 2:43 your ult usage was very questionable. On Cassidy, high noon is only dangerous if you’re at a safe enough angle to punish positioning. Jumping into the face of a zenyatta AND hanzo was a death wish. You have to be conscious of how much damage a hero can do to you over the span of your high noon, because during the animation you have so little movement you’re essentially standing still. At 8:58 you’re relatively “safe” (the hanzo can still blow you up) but this also is just a completely meaningless ult. You didn’t zone, and you definitely didnt kill. You didn’t get much more value than maybe spooking the hanzo to run away from the bot, which he was going to do anyway.
An extremely problematic issue you have is the fact you default to walking to a straight line either behind your tank, which at 4:00 got you one shot by hanzo. If you can, go back to the vod and look at it from his perspective. It’s an extremely easy shot to take. You gave him another easy shot around 5:55 when you kept peeking his angle repeatedly. Like I said earlier, remember how much damage someone can do to you in a short period of time. A one shot is not an exception. Your positioning essentially is just stand behind the tank or point, which isn’t a good mindset. At 4:44 this was an amazing off angle. You had cover, an angle on the back of the enemy team, and you had multiple exits and a health pack. This is textbook, and you should continue to do stuff like this. It awarded you two critical kills, so good job on that!
Another issue with you I found is that you seem like you rarely ever have a plan. You’re kinda just walking around and shooting hoping to kill someone. You’ve gotta start planning ahead even if it’s slow at first. For example, at 5:25 it looked like you second guessed yourself on the flank. It was a good idea, but you kept going back and forth and you didn’t shoot a single bullet for maybe 10 seconds. Confidence also seems to be an issue with how at 6:45 you don’t shoot at the baby D.va that should’ve been dead to rights. You’ve got so much down time it’s getting to a point where you flat out aren’t contributing. At 10:22, the flank was relatively okay, but you overstayed your welcome. After missing the zen twice, you should’ve immediately turned to leave. The D.va had the chance to jump on you and consequently kill you.
Overall, it seems like your macros aren’t quite there. You’ll develop them, but take some time to experiment with different types of sensitivities. Good luck friend :)
