Hello! Currently been on a pretty rough loss streak from Diamond 4 down to Plat 2, this was my first win after that loss streak but I felt like I earned it and played pretty well (by my standards at least). I think my main problems are ability usage (spamming cooldowns without proper consideration) and positioning (I often find myself out of position trying to help a teammate and get caught out.)

I really enjoy Lifeweaver, but I hesitate to play him because I feel like I don't have enough impact with him. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

first thing id recommend is trying to juggle between doing dmg and healing more

u have a lot of opportunities to do dmg as lifeweaver esp in plat

if u can lead ur projectiles u can actually do some rlly scary sustained damage as lw

second thing is ult tracking especially when they have junker queen cos she can literally counter everything u do with one button

if shes too oppressive pick the first minor perk otherwise id always pick the second minor perk

i havent watched the full thing but usually plat players have rlly irregular ult management

u have to read when ur team tends to ult so u can save ur tree

otherwise tree should be used very often since its more of a tempo ult more than anything

on first point i usually place petals near the 2 catwalks whichever ur closest to

if fights tend to happen near point more then it could be rlly useful since their team literally cannot contest u

also i wonder what ur usual hero pool is since i wouldnt recommend playing mercy

petals can esp be rlly useful since they have jqueen and tracer and they cannot do anything to u

i wanna put heavy emphasis on this cause doing dmg is how u win on this character beside ultra sustain

its a rlly minor thing but bind ur petal interact key because the enemies can take advantage of ur petal and u cant do anything about it unless u place a new one

I often feel like I can’t stop healing so I struggle to find moments for damage, any tips on pinpointing good moments?

downtime within fights, when ur teammates dont need immediate help, u juggle between dmg and healing so u wont have to reload ever thats the main point

or a low enemy

yea i think ur biggest struggle this game is the jqueen 😭

shouldve picked the cleanse perk

second biggest thing u should focus on is ult management

and ult tracking

ur pulls r rlly good

u were doing quite ok

Yeah I misclicked the wrong perk and was kicking myself 😭 I’m too used to defaulting to the passive heal

ur positioning is ok, although there r times where u overextend just to save ur teammate

u definitely arent paying attention to tracer a lot

because she knows she has to pulse u instead of anyone else

and shes constantly on u

just stay on petal more often thats pretty much it

or shoot her back if u can to force recall
