But I am not going to sit here and dwell on my grabage ass teammates instead I want to know what more i can do here some VODs these games are all played back to back i think i lost 9 games in a row take your pick and any tips are welcome to make more impact so i can help my brain dead team.

New Junk City ECHO - JAMESCHARLES CODE: ZQGTZS 34 - 8 --> LOSS
Route 66 played echo - JAMESCHARLES CODE: XJG894 26-8 --> LOSS
Busan Echo - JAMESCHARLES CODE: 4PXFJZ 13-2 --> LOSS
Dorado ECHO - JAMESCHARLES CODE:KVXS35 32 - 7 --> LOSS
Route 66 ECHO - JAMESCHARLES CODE: EHX6CX 7 - 3 --> LOSS

I have another 4 losses these all happened back to back what else can I say? My team are hot trash and they can't do a single thing i don't even take their resources like supports since i mainly use health packs and they die over and over again its crazy my tank and DPS have a combined of 30 deaths every game unless its a complete steam roll.

I've watched all of the replays and indeed you played everything to perfection and it was your teammates fault that you lost all of these games. You are really unlucky with the matchmaker and if it wasn't for that you should at least be in high Masters or GM. To bad you are a master at randomly always getting bad teammates in every game.
Make sure to keep blaming all your teammates and write them unencouraging words in chat, that's the only way you can climb and start winning.

I do not talk in chat but ight

one could probably do without the sarcasm but it is definitely true that you are dwelling on your teammates by ranting on about how bad they suck

#

i'm gonna open up a vod now and see if i can notice anything useful

#

the skin choice is good at least. we have that going for you

#

i'm only at 1:39 and keep in mind that i'm not any form of dps expert or expert in general but this is very passive gameplay for sure. elaborated thoughts forthcoming

#

okay yeah so the big observation so far even without looking at any micro play is that you're not really doing anything but poking. you're boosting and gliding back so that you're not dying a lot, which might create that feeling that your teammates are inting and you're not, but i think your low death count here isn't indicative of good positioning--i think it's a symptom of you staying so far back that you're effectively not in the fight

#

echo's job is to utilize her mobility to take a variety of useful off-angles and rotations that achieve an assassination ideally, or at the very least create pressure, and she's also built to be good at chasing and confirming kills

#

an echo should constantly be using her combo rhythm--she should be using primary fire + stickies + beam (unless the first two totally whiffed) to get kills in, being as aggressive and taking up as much space as the enemy team allows her

#

but i'm at where the first point has just been capped, and i haven't seen you attempt to use this combo even once

#

the first time i see you take any kind of off angle is here, and that's a really decent chunk into the match

#

this is gold, so the enemy team is oblivious, and no one even really turns to look at you. i think the target priority here could improve--i'd take out the healing turret first (because 1. this is gold you can take your time before anyone reacts and 2. it has potential to deny your efforts if you just ignore it), then go either for the illari or the bap, with the goal of trying to kill either before i was forced out

#

instead you go it looks like for the tank, and just poking at tanks on echo isn't really doing much

#

but the target priority isn't even the main concern here, the main concern for me is that, even though literally nobody is shooting at you and you're in a good position to Do Something, you just immediately turn and leave

#

you don't try to follow up on the stickies or anything

#

and once you're out, you kite waaaaay back again, playing in a sightline like you're a widowmaker instead of an echo

#

it's So passive that all it lets you do is poke at long range, and it means you're not close enough to try doing anything when your team gets the enemy mccree to half health. some stickies and a beam would have been great there!! it also does let the mccree take potshots at you. which, like, no severe danger at that point bc Gold, but it's not a good position for you by any means

#

i could watch further, there are other little details i'm noticing, but i feel like the no. 1 thing for you to work on right now is just genuinely the basics of echo

#

i'm not seeing you try to hold off-angles or follow up on any of your stickies, i see you using a beam on a full hp genji and not looking for opportunities with it otherwise, i'm seeing you play in positions like yr a sniper. both of the first two fights that your team wins in this route 66 match don't involve you as a decisive player at all. i don't mean offense, but really, reconsider how nasty you're being when you talk about these people you're matched with--it's not just unnecessarily mean, it's completely unfounded, because you are at this rank alongside them for a reason

#

i'm not great at like. succinct advice conclusions due to not having any practice coaching. but for me the most important thing you should implement in your game is: try to take up angles where you aren't just poking at distance from the same spot as the rest of your team. do not start kiting back unless you actively are losing enough hp that you feel like you might die. try picking somewhere to attack from, picking the enemy target with the lowest hp or the least safe position, and using a sticky/primary fire/beam combo on them. find out what happens if you get aggro on the enemies and stay aggro. keep a closer range and rely more on cover instead of pure distance for your safety.

#

or if i try to simplify that into a snappier sentence. try playing some matches where you get up the enemies asses via an off-angle, and refuse to leave that angle unless they make you. see how that impacts your matches

# spark herald i'm not seeing you try to hold off-angles or follow up on any of your stickies, ...

(i watched a smidgen further and if you hadn't used the beam on the full hp genji you wouldve had it up like 3 seconds later when he was actually half hp and deflecting right in front of you. which couldve melted him like velveeta. this is why "DO NOT USE YOUR BEAM ON TARGETS WHO ARENT AT ROUGHLY HALF HP DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT" is something that should be drilled into the head of echo players with a literal actual drill)

#

can i phrase my critique in a slightly mean but perhaps funny way. with the way you're running for the hills literally any time an enemy is so much as looking at you i feel like there's potential for you to make a killing as a mercy player here
