Tip: Torches are more efficient for creating Glowstone Nooks than for direct usage. Glowstone Nooks are a well-known, non-intrusive light source suggested to players by the Quest Book. They also have a higher light level than ordinary torches.
Using the Alchemical Duplication research from Thaumcraft, the Lux in torches can be converted into valuable Glowstone, without needing to farm glowflowers.
Crucible: 60 torches (60 Lux) + 20 dye (20 Sensus) + 20 glowstone dust + 1 water bucket -> 40 glowstone dust (3 Lux + 1 Sensus each)
Compressor: 40 glowstone dust -> 20 glowstone dust + 5 glowstone blocks
Crafting Table with Forge Microblocks Saw: 5 glowstone blocks -> 10 glowstone slabs -> 20 glowstone panels -> 40 glowstone covers -> 80 glowstone strips -> 160 glowstone nooks

just make an Architectury Craft table and have infinite glowing blocks, light problem solved
This is more for people who want to replace the torches they use(d) for exploring, or early on, with glowstone nooks because the conversion rates and emitted light are just better
You can also do exploration with architecturecraft blocks
Can you convert the inevitable existing torches you have at a 60:160 rate to architecturecraft blocks, or have a large amount of free space within an architecturecraft light source (because why would you recess it in the ground, that takes extra time that makes it a poor torch substitute)
The idea behind glowstone nooks is that, like torches, you can generally just slap them wherever, barring a couple cases in confined spaces.
