How to Semi-Automate BBF (Brick Blast Furnace) at steam age

First of I found this off of youtuber named "Garden of Grind" no one else in this discord has a idea how to automate bbf so I thought I would share is idea.

Note: This will only grab the dust. YOU will have to manually grab the steel out

Warning: If the input is overflowed the input items will go to the output. which will void the steel.

all you need is
1x hopper (found in dungeons)
1x* hoppers minecart (found in villages)
1x rail (found in villages)
1x piston (found in dungeons) *sticky piston works as well
1x Brick Blast Furnace

watch the following video on how do instructions.

if you want you can add a additional hopper facing the controller but make sure you aren't all 3 inputs arent full if they are the input items will go into the steel slot which will cause the steel to void.

So here's additional information I found (or forgot to mention) and thought I would like to comment

1st: you can overflow as long as long their steel in the output (as previously mention) this allows the input to properly be outputted and to be recycled.

2nd: only the minecart hoppers interacts with the BBF, and only pulls last 2 outputs

3rd: only 1 item can be inputted form the top meaning for automation you should use a Iron block to prevent overflowing. (only exception is when your using conveyors instead of hoppers)

with this information you can create a system where coal is constantly outputted and is put into a item filter, and is constantly added back. might cause lag

keep in mind while this is intended for steam age
I genuinely believe there's no way to take the steel out of a bbf, as you cant put even put a cover on the controller,
