#Mr Beast and other scams spamming the server

mee6 has a forbidden words filter and other filters to prevent/clean up things like this
there is no text in the scam
U can create an extra channel w open text / image posting and a bot that auto bans anyone who posts anything in that channel and put a warning g on the channels saying not to post anything in it bc it will result in a ban
I can’t post a photo in this thread but I have a screenshot of this from a different server
It's an idea
kinda tricky cause people WILL post in it ... have to make sure it's only images/posts with an attachment etc
which is possible with the Discord library for dotnet
I don't think so. Anyone with half a brain won't post in a channel named auto-ban with a big clear warning saying not to post anything in it.
Other than that, I think you can just kick instead of ban so they can rejoin in case of accidentaly sending a message in that channel. Only bots spam that channel, so I think kicking is enough to stop them - haven't heard of them rejoining the servers by themselves.
use the double counter bot
tell me more
Install it into the server and setup a verification layer
I see issues with laws in some countries with it
It's n alt chaser via ip
I would like the bot to recognize the Mr beast scam that's all
well it does recognise bots because it filters out who can and cant click the verification link
and if they cant do that then the bot gains no further accsess
thanks for the rec, the issue is that the scam is posted via active compromised accounts
Something similar actually happened to multiple accounts of a friend of mine
but in his case the accounts would send NSFW server invites
probably some sort of scam or phishing attempt too
not sure much can be done, ultimately it is hijacked/zombied accounts that post this shit. so, people that have been here for weeks/months/years. it's more a problem with discord itself that should automatically detect when someone suddenly exhibits spammy behaviour, especially after login pattern irregularity
