Looking for amp suggestions.

Lengthy post so ill just break down my response by key points.

• tube amps will be pricey and the fact you’re looking by very pointed criteria such as single channel, 1x12” amp means you’re eliminating a lot.
• all amps will have largely a signature sound by circuit and tubes. Marshalls, and British amps, tend to be mids forward. American amps are more scooped, etc. Maybe first consider what tones your Peavey cant cover.
• what model is your Peavey? Could also really help us figure out what to suggest if you gave a budget range and genres you are into

Im inclined to suggest the Deluxe Reverb which is 2 channels but has high headroom, really great EQ, and is much more versatile than a Blues Jr.

However, it is very scooped compared to the Blues Jr, which is more modern. You could try to offset this by swapping speakers later on
