I want a better guitar, I have a Jackson js32 I figured it would be better to just get a better guitar mainly for the quality instead of upgrading the pickups, tuners, and bridge on my current guitar but I was wondering if the Ibanez or Jackson would be better.

Tough to say since both are great guitars. Honestly, I would go for the Ibanez.
Reasons are:

  • Neck Profile feels smoother on the Ibanez IMO. And they generally have better QC.
    That being said... the only way to know for sure is to go to a guitar store and check them both out...
    There's a certain personal element for guitars... You'll know which one feels better in your hands
