How to start learning

Heyho,
I just started playing electric guitar (as lead guitar). I played aucustic guitar for about 1 yeahr. I know some basic chord and i mainly played with barre chords. I am also able to improvise strumming. Classicly I ofc. skipped aquierring most of the basic knowledge xd
I want to change between learning the basics and learning some songs.
Therefor I´d appreciate some tips what I need to know, wich techniques I should train and what exercices would be good to do daily.

Also I´d appreciate hints how I play the following song:

• How do I play the first bars so fast
• Can I play instead of for exp. xx12x just 12 (you´ll see what I mean) / what is the differenz

2. you can but it won't sound the same ... the X are muted notes which will still produce sound

or in this case ... the X are just stops so you should lift off to stop the note from ringing out
