wow ur very lucky
You dont need a youth guitar
ur 13
you can get a full scale one
I started wth a full scale guitar at 13
Whats ur budget?
Get a Yamaha Pacifica
he could get better depending on the budget
Yea ik but without a budget and thinking he needs a youth guitar I’m assuming not high Altho his mom will probably get a discount for working there
Idk the budget
I like that guitar
Ask your mom
500 or less
Yamaha Pacifica is a good, solid beginner guitar.
true
a little addition but
for picks get these
trust
and get urself a decent cable
Are you ok with playing through headphones? Or would you prefer not to?
Both I suppose
Skip that BOSS Katana Mini. You could do much better
Ive used that before
The only thing with headphone multi fx is that i feel like it could overwhelm them but im not sure
I enjoyed it
like especially if theyre a beginner
I'm not beginee
People glaze the hell out of BOSS like its the only thing that exists but tbh its overpriced and limited
yeah but it might be hard to grasp like signal chains and stuff w headphone multi fx
you would still be considered a beginner
Oh
or intermediate
Oh
I think you should stick with an amp for now personally
K
Can't even hook the mini up to your PC
The price for everything is going to be 300 something
yeah but its more plug and play in a sense
Also I don't have a PC
For like $150? Thats laughable
the mini is like 80 bucks
Correct
yup
get this guitar
these picks
and this cable
HEY THAT GUITAR IS THE ONE I WANTED!
u might also want to get a bag since im not sure the guitar will come with one
hell yeah
YEAH!
yw
isnt like
Not really... Just got my brother in law - who's not a technophile by any stretch of the imagination - a headphone amp to go with his guitar, and there was NO PROBLEM with grasping the signal chain at all...
your mom the best person to ask
A bag? Lol save that 60 and buy a better amp than a BOSS. Snag a guitar stand off FB MArketplace for $10
WTF you need a bag for
sweetwaters reps entire jobs is to know and sell guitars
sybau
?
you're like 10 years old bro
lul
but yeah the boss katana mini sucks ass
ive owned one
I had a good experience with it
and i havent, so i'm telling you not to get it
it's a mini amp that eats 6 double a batteries every week
Mini x is usable but abit limited
And I already made my decision stop trying to change my mind. I have a budget and it fits the budget.
Then why ask
I own the normal mini and wouldn’t recommend as only amp
so does a used Mustang LT25
I just googled what 'sybau' means lol
Or a used NuX mighty 20
☝️ Very solid choice!
fixed bridge esp ltd ec and katana is a go to for everything
My vote is for the Pacifica as well. Solid qc.
Thats fair
Maybe get a multi fx then
@chrome sparrow
but if u rlly wanna stick w the mini then go for it ig
but yeah they are right its not really the best option
Im 14, an intermediate player, almost expert igs and im planning to get an e-guitar next month. Im deciding whether to choose the Donner DST -152 or an Enya Inspire. Both fits my budget. What should I choose?
still far from expert tbh
The intermediate grind is huge and super time consuming most people don't get past it
If youre gonna play rock/metal, why not a pacifica 112j instead of 112vm? You can shave a bit off the cost and spend that on the amp
i have been playing acoustic for 2 years, is that still a good choice?
yes
i've searched on the Internet the Yamaha Pacifia PAC112J and some more. A Fesley FST100, as i researched, is good for players at my level. Is it a good choice? Or I js have a go at the pacifia 112j?
fesley is not too back actually ... sort of like Donner
yeahh
the only thing is theyre made in china
pacificas are usually made in indonesia or japan
doesn't guarantee anything though
but yeah, can't go wrong with Pacifica
Cort is also an option
Im just saying the QC will probably be better on the pacifica
I assume their made in indonesia guitars are manufactured in the cort factory
Yeah i heavily agree w this
not bc theyre made in indonesia or wtv
its bc theyre owned by yamaha
china knows how to make good guitars
they're just not paid to lul
@fair beacon the price of a pacifia 112j in my country still costs as much as an enya inspire. As im planning to buy the Fender Mustang amp, should i go with the Donner DST 152 i mentioned before?
If ur gona play meta look at the nux mighty 20 it metals much better than the fender
im not gonna play metal. What amp should i get?
If u don’t want to play metal u will be fine w the mustang lt
ok got it
ok yall, i need your FINAL recommendation. I really need it because my dad told me to buy the best one that fits my budget, or he'll fking beat my ass up. My details down👇
Age:14
Region:Vietnam
Price segment: ~200-500 $ (5mil - 10mil vietnamdong)
Guitar brand: Yamaha, Squier, Donner, Enya, Fesley
Amp brand: Fender Mustang, Bass Fender Rumble 25,...
Pedal: anything
the fender rumble 25 is for basses
Do Yamaha for guitar, then fender mustang LT25, you wont need pedals
because the mustang has built in effects
I have come back
I asked someone who works at sweetwater about the boss Katana mini
At sweetwater, the boss Katana mini is a best seller
That says absolutely nothing about the quality
Also the person who told me says that it's one of his favorite guitar amps and that it's good for if youre just practicing or playing by yourself
It's pretty basic. I don't know how it sounds so if you want something simple without effects then maybe that's it.
For the money it might be the best ... I'd still get a mightyplug pro or a GP50 and just any speaker
Especially if you want to play anything harder than granddad rock
☝️ What he said!
Ok ok
