So basically I got a marshall 2525h and a 2x12 1936v cabinet but I often play live with a friend who also plays guitar, he recently bought a tonex pedal that he plugs directly into the PA system and playing simultaniously doesnt sound great since his guitar comes from all the speakers and mine only from my cabinet, is there any way to also put mine in the PA system? I was thinking of putting a mic like the shure sm57 on the cab then the mic to an interface like the scarlett 2i2 gen 4 then to the pa system, would that work?

Either a mic that goed to FOH or something like a loadbox to send your amp, with an IR through the PA.
Do you all have a mixer? I assume you might since his guitar is going through multiple PA speakers.
If you have a mixer, the SM57 will go into the mixer, and you can balance/pan the guitars accordingly. You wouldn't need an audio interface like a 2i2.
If you do not have a mixer, there are alternatives, but not as ideal. The ability to control the balance and output from individual instruments is substantial and effective.
Ye I think so
So ill only need the mic
Also could I use this to record my amp from home without a interface
Pnly the mic
Only
Also another question is about an attenuator
My amp is very loud and can play on its own but the only reason i want to run it into PA is so my friends guitar isnt heard from all speakers while mine is only from my cab makes it unbalanced as in his sound comes from everywhere but mine only from 1 part of the stage
Or maybe we can just adjust so only his side of speakers play his guitars dont
Idek
How to do tgat
That
Silly question, but is the PA running other instruments/vox or just your friends guitar?
Just his guitar
And then a backing track
