have you googled ? there must be 19429 and 1 metallica katana presets out there

they all sound ass, they dont sound close at all

they have really weird tones that dont sound even close to it, id get closert with just turning mids down treb and bass up but thats still not good

no cause I don't have a katana ... but I can imagine that one of the most popular amp + one of the biggest metal bands = shitload of presets

it's also not rocket science ... high gain or medium gain amp with a boost with some V30 style cabinet and you're 90% there

when i turn on tube screamer whatever that is or just booster on the boss katana i get horrible feedback liek it starts ringing throughj my amp, why is that? i have an emg 81 shouldnt that not have feedback or what?

you're probably too close by ... I don't know ... didn't think the katana could feed back

it does pretty horribly like hella loud ringing, and if i mute the strings with my picking hand it stops? could it be smt else then? but it only happends when i turn on boost even boost to 1 out of 100

maybe the combo of high output pickup with a boost

possibly, i think it could also be my room, door closed n stuff might bounce of f the walls, cause even happends when faced away from the amp. Also idk if u know but could it be caused by pickup height in any way? mines like 2mm on both sides but i thought thats like normal for actives
