i had the js22 dinky which has the same neck as the js11 and i had the grx 40 which has the same neck as the grx 20 (i think), definitely preffered the js neck especially if you are going to be playing lots of distorted stuff, if you need something as versatile as possible maybe the ibanez could be the better pick
pickups are probably pretty bad on both
