Just a suggestion, but why not spend a good chunk on a good guitar and get a MultiFX unit with it.
That way you get:

  • A great guitar to start with
  • All the sounds you want
  • to save space since these days unless you're actively gigging in environments where there's no PA/Mixer, there's really no need for a physical amp for most people.
  • an integrated guitar interface so you can record your music directly to your computer or smartphone.

And you'll save a bunch of money in the long run since one unit does the job of a bunch of pedals, amps, cabs, interface, tuner, drum machine, looper. <-- you get all that with most modern MultiFX units/modelers.
