I can't decide bcuz I need an amp that will last a long time and is good for at least small parties or loud enough to be noticeable at gigs when drums are playing.
And I'm used to the champion 100 I played on it a long time in my band but sadly I didn't own it and the owner had to sell it now I'm looking for an amp but my budget is low.
Found the champion 100 cheap but like I still don't know.
#Fender champion 40/50xl/100(150-180€) or frontman 212r(80€)

@wintry nacelle whats your genre style?
i wouldnt be so worried about playing for gigs, make sure you're proficient at your instrument
i mean without a doubt the fender champion
i'm a huge boss katana advocate. amazing amp for beginners and i use mine for gigs
guitar wise, an ibanez gio series without a doubt. best bang for your buck
especially if you like rock and metal. has humbucker pickups that give you that metal feel
as far as i know all of the GIO's do
have those pickups
but if you have the money, a used boss katana mk2 in my opinion is the BEST. should hopefully line up around your price range with the champion
frontman will not give you enough wiggle room to try out your effects.
which will lead to you buying pedals you're not certain on
