Thanks for viewing, Just need some clarification as Im highly in-expirienced havent really worked on any guitars before
Im deciding between two fairly similar Charvel Models
The Pro-Mod DK24 HH HT E, Ebony Fingerboard - Satin Black
or
the Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 2 HH HT CM

I plan to install a set of the EMG Actives on these guitars.
Im wondering if its possible to install it on the ProMod DK24 model , the compartment looks like it can fit the 9 volt battery.
If not am I more or less stuck with getting the SoCal as it already has a dedicated battery compartment making this considerably easier
Needless to say I want to minimize any modifications.

Thank you in advance

if a battery will fit in the control cavity, no modification required

Would there be any way of verifying that?

Im planning to order the ProMod if i modify it I wont be able to return it needless to say

look at back of guitar, eyeball it. if it’s a tight cavity with a bunch of controls inside, you’re out of luck

#

at a glance, I’d think a battery would fit in the control cavity pretty easy

Thats what im thinking aswell, I figured someone in the server probably owned one or something and could comment on the manner. I dont really want to risk anything lol

I've got a Jackson king V with a visually smaller cavity and I fit a battery in there just fine
