#are headless guitars worth buying?

Difference is negligible. My opinion is that there is a downside to headless in that you rely on using tuners in your interface/pedal, and cannot use a clip on tuner.
ah, heard that it's way lighter tho and since the balance of the guitar's shifted, does it affect playing style in a way?
It depends on the brand. You are looking more at neck profiles and body contours for playability and comfort. Resources say that you shave 2-3 lbs off of a guitars weight. Could be nice if you stand longer than a standard set list for a gig.
I would recommend playing all of your guitars in the classical position anyway.
Owhh okay thanks!!
OOH what guitar is that, it's so pretty
Skervesen Shoggie DC7. It's a custom shop.
OOHH OKAYY
Most headless don't use common parts so it might be harder to fix in the future. Safer approach is to get non headless, they are also easier to sell.
I think buying something with selling it in mind is kind of a weird way to go about and although you are right about the parts that are not common, it's also not that they are hard to get since more and more manufacturers offer headless hardware
I bought my headless 7 string purely because it was the cheapest 7 string I could get here and I got lucky and fell in love with the playability, comfort and tuning stability
Worth it is very subjective, you mentioned Ibanez and Strandberg, which both clock in over 1K ... Strandberg WELL over 1K and while they are said to be great instruments, I cannot say if they are worth that amount of money. That being said there are cheaper headless models/brands like NK, Harley Benton, Acepro that might be interesting
@blissful tulip
You might have some input here.
Playing while sitting with my headless is way more comfortable
Especially in classical. It sits perfectly in front of me. The excess wood removed behind the bridge, at least as opposed to a superstrat or LP shape
Ah okay, noted!!
OOHH
Can you guys recommend some headless guitars? I wanna try them out first before making the decision
NK .. but you cannot try them since you order them from AliExpress...same goes with acepro
I suggest you try a strandberg or Ibanez Q series at a guitar shop ... Then if you like it you can always order a similar model online
OHH OKAY WILL DO
Owhh okay okay
I never play classical but my headless still is more comfortable than my regular guitars
I never really did till I got this guitar. Now I prefer it
Why not use the curve that's meant for it though ..at least ..I think that is meant for resting on your leg
