#Is it worth getting the Fender Mustang Micro Plus or are there better options?

Why would you want one ?
At that price point I personally would go for the Mooer P2 prime since it has some expandability using the GNR models
I just like the idea of being able to practice quietly and anywhere really
I'll have a look at the Mooer P2 prime
Then something like this is ideal ...I have one of those Nux plug thingies but it's kinda meh
The Mooer also comes with an app to control it ...don't know if the fender one has that too
I have to be honest and say I have not heard the Micro Plus in real life, but my go to practice tool is the Mighty Plug Pro.
Benefits over the Fender is that it has a drum machine, metronome, and tuner built in, and can take custom IRs. Another benefit over the competition is the TRRS out, so if you have a headset with mic, you can record Guitar and voice at the same time.
Also, not that it's a major issue at that price point, but it's also a bit cheaper.
That being said, the Fender seems to be better for clean tones and a bit worse for Distortion.
The Mooer P2 is great as well and has a looper, which does come in quite handy.
I have the Mighty plug and I think it also has a drum machine, although a bad/simple one .... but I just did not find a good use for it since I usually practice in my office/studio , where my dedicated music rig is with all my nice amp plugins and Superior Drummer ... then the mighty plug doesn't sound all that mighty
Well, for less than 100 Euro, can't expect it to be something that Units costing a lot more are capable of.
Especially if you have a dedicated rig already, I can see there's not that much use for it, but that would also apply for the Fender then, right?
I find that with some good IRs, the Plug Pro sounds quite good for what it is.
Given you have a dedicated rig already What's your motivation behind wanting to get a Fender Micro?
I'm not the OP ๐
Ahh, sorry... Was a bit distracted... Kids... ๐
