Depends on the phone ... Iphone or Android

But you probably need an interface that's class compliant and has USBC support

Yeah my EVO 4 should work with iPhones but my cheap-ish android can't provide enough power

My best bet is the iRig line from IK multimedia...they're designed for mobile devices

Pretty much any beginner MultiFX unit nowadays has built-in interface capability, so all you need is the right cable.
I routinely record from my MG-30 straight to my phone.

Also the iRig line is pretty good, but keep in mind that you have to have the software (Amplitube or equivalent) installed on your phone.
