so G for the G chord, C for the C chord and D for the D chord.
Thumb:
G - 3rd fret 6th string
C - 3rd fret 5th string
D - open 4th string
and you'd pick the 3 treble strings with your index, middle and pinky in an arpeggio style.
@slate current
So I play the these bass with thumbs always first followed by the 3 other strings?
you could do that
If you understand rhythm and timing.
Knowing this music is in 3/4 time
You can fill out the bar, playing the strings in whatever finger picking pattern you want
Just land the bass notes on the chord changes
if you want the same pattern
but you are free to do all kinds of rhythm arpeggios, like a repeated bass note instead of the initial pick and let ringing.
Key to this is, that the pattern repeats for easy listening through the chord changes, so it gives it a consistent rhythm.
and yeah, it doesn't have to be always the same, either.
