Hi all I'm trying to learn the above, reading the tabs do I need to strum on the second fret on the slide? Sorry if I've worded that wrong, learning here lol.

#

Or is it a kind of flick as I come off it at the end of the slide?

#

Also if someone could enlighten me to what the bars are below the tabs that would be mega 😅

2-4 means you pick 2nd and then slide to 4
the stuff below is the rhythm

Ok, so once I get to 4, do I just release?

hold down fret 2 with middle slide to 4 then release and pick 3 (hold with index)

Do you know the note values? That's what those bars below the tab are.
There's an 8th note rest tied to two 16th notes, followed by a quarter note.
They basically show you the rhythm to play the notes.
Do this: pull up the official song on YT, and look at the bars while listening to that section. You'll see the rhythm and hopefully have that "Aha" moment.

Then learn the basic note and rest values, and learning songs (as well as playing) will become a lot easier. 👍
