So basically i want to postpone my guitar's good condition as long as possibly and i live in Scotland and it's usually absolutely fucking freezing and soaking so i want a de-humidifier just to make sure my guitar doesn't get damaged from changes in the temperature and humidity. It's a cheap beginner guitar (Yamaha F370) so i'm sure it's more prone to damage than an expensive one would be.

Anyway to get to the point of this boring rant, can i get some recommendations when it comes to a de-humidifier, preferably something that isn't like a futuristic anal alien space probe costing 20 grand.

my area has an average of 74% in summer to 82% humidity in winder and I've never had any issues with acoustics

tho i guess also how well ventilated your house is also matters

I can't see the monthly stats but from the last few days it looks like it ranges from mid 70's to 90's

cause generally it would be best if the guitar was in an enclosed area, unless you want something to work for the entire room

great to save money instead of getting a huge machine

most issues is if its in a place where cold touches warm. Like idk open window and warm air from a heater

i mean the more closed the area the better it will work but as far as i see they just say to put the thing inside the guitar
