#Looking for an interface to use

With my recent graduation and me likely getting some extra money throughout the year, I'm planning on buying an audio interface within this year.

Due to my location (specifically the Philippines), I have a completely different set of options and prices differ. I was hoping for an interface that's budget friendly that I can start out with.

I need at least 2 ports since I want to do both vocals and guitar at the same time when recording, it's something I adhere to.

Any thoughts on the choices and maybe the budget I should really aim for?

Currently, I'm not sure how much I'll get so this is just nothing but an R&D for interfaces on my area.

Thanks for the suggestions, seems to be quite the hefty price tag. Might check the 2nd hand market if anybody's got any when i have my budget around

#

Are there cheaper options just in case?

sly hollow
#

sure are but cant vouch for them?

#

Behringer got to do some interface for cheap

#

i see two ports is still around that same price

#

so i guess thats the cheapest you can go

Ig i really can't cheap out on this haha

#

i guess its simple tech but cant go simpler than that lol

I'm seeing some behringers go for lower than P8k but that's the lowest I can see being a reasonable price tbh

#

Something i wouldn't get scammed by

Guess i'm gonna find it hard to buy online. Barely any reviews

#

Might resort to using amazon over lazada and shopee for this one

#

Ok, i'm doing some research and i see this riworal q24 and is only a mono channel BUT it says 24bit/96khz. Although I'm new to this so these probably sound awful i suppose

#

It's about P1.5k without shipping, doesn't sound like a bad start tbh

i'm open to much more suggestions, y'all have something up that's easy to get into philippines?

Do you really need to recoed 2 inputs at the same time versus tracking one thing at a time and mixing it together? It is better consistency in non studio environments.

I was talking to someone in a vc and they rec'd me this, it had an instrument input and a mic input, might check out on this if it's easily available

#

The mic, i think that one goes about 3kphp or so, not sure about the preamp's cost but i'll look into it and some other options

In the PH Used Market it goes to as low as php4500

i'm looking for something along the lines of that mtrack solo with 1 mic and 1 instrument input

karmic cave
#

sadly I’m not sure

#

There is a 4th gen(?) that has more than 2 inputs iirc

#

ah wait nvm

#

there is a 4i4 that has 2 inputs

proud thicket
#

imma do my reserach since alot of people favor the mtrack solo and behringer for the price

#

it's not like i'm looking for portability, just looking for something to start with, nothing too crazy in terms of budget but with enough quality

Yep

#

the 4i4 has them

#

Imo, get a used 4i4 or something that’s used

#

afterwards rhat’s gonna be something you’ll use for your whole life whether you find it in your junk the next years later
