amp make tone

#

you can use pretty much any guitar to do that, just know your amp's EQ section

I see

#

And does that require an expensive one?

#

Depends on what you call expensive but at around $300 for sure

#

even cheaper probably but I dont have recent experience to be sure

Will definitely be a great guitar for such things

#

But yeah the tone comes from your amp and speaker

get a strat

#

she's playing a Sire Larry Carlton S7 FM which is based off of an HSS stratocaster model

#

i don't know much about the pickups inside though

#

probably any vintage to moderate output strat model (or HSS model in general) should do the trick

#

trying to find a similar video to see if she's using neck or bridge

#

interesting- looks like she plays on the middle pickup

#

so perhaps even an SSS model would work

#

but yes- a good part is also the amp

#

she runs her strat through an artec g15- posts specs in her other videos

#

and there's a mooer ge150 pedal used too- which is a multi fx pedal

#

someone more versed in pedal effects could tell you what's in there, but i believe there's a bit of reverb or delay- i can't pick it out that well

#

I think the sound doesnt have reverb or delay

#

its just through an amp

#

recorded in a room

#

with a strat

#

You can get that type of sound on strats

#

id get a pacifica or smth

#

just watched more of her videos

#

Shes using the middle pickup and neck pickup combination

#

to get that nice single coily sparkly bright sound

#

Get a strat, a decent amp and put the switch at the middle pickup and neck pickup thing

#

but the reason why is sounds so good is just how shes playing
