strange dawn
My budget is $300, but I'm looking at used guitars, so in new guitar terms, something around $500
I want a whammy bar but not a floyd rose. I'm not really familiar with the different versions but I think what I want is called a floating trem.
Preferably, I'd like a guitar with 24 frets, but 22 also works.
Rn my only electric is a cheap $100 telecaster, which is fine but after 2 years it;s already getting bad. I also don't like the boxy-ish shape. I want something with contours but not like an Ibanez RGA that looks insanely aggressive (but the shape doesn't matter as much to me as the other stuff)
I also don't really care about tone. I have a multi-effects pedal (Mooer ge150) so I can really make any sound I want.
Lastly, I prefer guitars with slidey necks so I can slide my fingers around but this also doesn't matter that much.
I play rock (queen, guns n roses, ac/dc), and i also play some jazz/blues. thought that would be good to let you guys know.
