#I am looking for a new amp to get but I'm unsure of which to get.

I mainly want to go for versatility since I do plan on playing different genres, like high gain or mixing it up with pedals
I hear marshall is pretty great at both clean and high gain but I see people reccomending the katana a lot.
I don't currently have a room to record in either atm (my room has pretty bad sound proofing and acoustic treatment
) so that's also a factor
Any other amp reccomndations would be baller too
I guess the katana 50 or 100 recommendation is still a great one for you
As lax said 50 or 100 is good for you I think
Because with the DSL20 you re gonna wanna cook the valves really to get that nice tone you’re probably familiar with (turning a decent bit up)
And then if you get the katana you can go really quiet and loud
the DSLCR amps from marshall are pretty solid if you want an affordable tube combo amp
if you can get the katana 100 id recommend that due to the extra features it has, aside from the power
the GA/FC-EX footswitch support and extra profiles
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'm gonna get the katana 100 after doing a bit more research. (Didn't even realize the 50 doesn't come with a fx loop).
