#Pedals Recommendations?

A lot, I really like to try everything and I find most genres fun, from jazz to rock to funk to lofi stuff and alt rock, etc. City pop is a personal favorite
only thing I dont like is hard rock which is why I didnt include fuzz
Have a really important question, sorry for the mention, I am in a store and I only have 1 hour to decide
Please talk me out of buying the timeline
Im buying the big sky and I dont see the point in not buying the timeline
I’m saving $200 upwards because i’m buying them tax free and in japan in comparison to official strymon prices and even more if bought and delivered to my country, might even save $300+
@whole pebble
Its about $670 - $700 brand new for both, bigsky and timeline
Main question: Is there a pedal other than the Echosystem and Timeline that I would not need to replace, and that could compete with them?
I really dont want to buy a pedal so that I can replace my previous ones
Although it will happen if new releases happen that completely blows these out the water
@still meteor My bad I was busy
Tbh I don’t know much about those pedals, due to the price I assume they’d be the best you can get
I’d for distortion, and overdrive you can get any boss, jhs, etc pedal for around 80-100 for it
Due to their quality of sound you’ll probably never want to replace them as reverb and delay gets a lot better when it comes to price but not so much with distortion if I’m honest
Other worthwhile mentions are chorus, compressor and a eq
Dw, @whole pebble
I alr bought the Big Sky and Timeline
For the overdrive I alr had the Strymon Sunset prior to the travel
Honestly, I dont think I’d be using distortion as much
i’m not really the hard rocky guy, and I think my multieffect is enough for that
Rn I’m thinking of buying a chorus and compressor
I have my eyes on the Jackson Audio Bloom Compressor and the Walrus Julia V2 chorus
But after messaging in this discord the chorus apparently isn’t that good compared to others
