Hi i am currently learning dont fear the reaper by blue öyster intro i got the chords down but i am having trouble with the picking, is there a way to help me pick more precisely (as in a specific practice method) or does it come with practice ?

I tried to count while picking the strings but when i try increase the speed lets say to 60/70 % i always mess up
