the katana is still better; its an interface, and more versatile bc it has a software

but teh katana will have similar firepower

high wattage does mena louder, but the amount of speakers also matters. since they both have one speaker, it is comparable. however, that does not mean that the blackstar is 2.5x louder. Either way, both amps will be enough for any gig.
