nope. You cant upgrade all of your gear at once. Get the guitar you want someday, then someday get the amp you want. or vice versa. unless you're rich that is then its a moot point. I frequently play expensive guitars on my cheap peavey or line6 despite having a better amp

#

what amp do you have and what style of music do you want to play

#

you might benefit from a different if amp youre a rock or metal guy

#

i usually spend a lot of time on youtube before committing to an amp

#

might be best to go to a music shop and ask to sample a few guitars and amps and decide which is more important to you

#

since its up in the air for you

#

same

#

well you can always just get the guitar and buy an amp later

#

i like to play unplugged half the time for practice anyway

#

esp at night

200-400 theres some really great modeling amps with a lot of tones, everything from metal to rock and roll and special effects. then 800 and up stuff with actual tubes has the best most significant change in your tone

#

but if its really a cheap amp under 100 most amps would be a step up

#

probably not if youre just using it for blues or indie or whatever your vox should be fine

your guitar will only sound as good as the amp does. If you are willin to spend at least 100-200 on an amp, only then with the gutiar make a real difference

#

That looks okay, but are you looking to upgrade?

#

Also what guitar are you trying to get I could help with that

Save to get a nice amp like a Boss Katana or Positive Grid Spark

Yes totally

#

They are the best amps around under 500

Fantastic amps

Preferably the spark because it’s much more versatile
