Hey everyone,
I have deactivated marketing on ALL of my businesses because it doesnt have an impact. Like you can see on this example. The visits per hour where on that level before and now with 100% marketing. Traffic index is also okay with 40%, also the products / tech are requested cause another store just closed and the percentage was going up.
Is it possible that the marketing effect is a bit buggy? On ALL businesses I get more money without Marketing compared to with marketing.

You'll see pretty much the same customer count with food products but things like Electronics, without marketing, you'll see a drop in numbers of customers/sales.
to get those numbers on electronics your market is likely not very good.

I get these numbers with AND without marketing, they are the same. Also the prices of the products are good. And the market looks good.
So I really dont understand why there aren't a bit more customers here

Market demand
look at the demand on electronics on the market tab and it'll likely be 30's for that customer amount. So there's probably 3+ businesses in that district making the demand for products lower then a single business would be.

Zanman watch only has a demand of 29% with only 2 stores selling it.

Hmm okay. Could be a reason, Demand was much higher as I took a look at it first. Now its 34% for the ZanaMan Smartwatch (another Company also sells it) and 50% for the Phone (I am the only one selling it)
But the fact that even with Marketing its the same number of customers still exists. Thats pretty strange

Marketing only helps the "demand" a little bit. If your market is down you likely won't see change on high end products like that.
Marketing is more a hidden demand boost. Example would be a flower shop with a 20% demand getting say 18/30 customer max. Put marketing on there and it would probably jump a fair amount as it's a cheaper products.

Marketing can definitely help a lot. But you have to wait for the next day to see the impact. And daily numbers are different for different days of the week. So comparing a Monday with marketing to a Sunday without marketing won't give you accurate results!
