I'm confused what "the golden boy" means in this context
How does he kill this guy? How does he actually "use it in an attempt to regain his former fame"?
golden boy would mean like 'peak of the peak'. younger, more successful. like an A-List Star. As for the death, It's an death in the ring. I was thinking of something like a punch to the gut. Like how Houdini died. For the 'attempt to regain his former fame'. It's like playing to the media.

Yeah, I don't really get the concept. So he kills this guy. Attention is already on him. His name will be in headlines. What is he then doing for 90 minutes? If his goal is fame, he's already received it from killing this dude
