Currently reading Syd Field's Screenwriting and he's got pages on each character before starting. Everyone works so differently

I must say, I am proud of what we've come up with so far.

I tend to see the humor in everything when I am writing and I must say, I have kept that in check this entire process and focused on telling this story that has very little humorous beats to it and I think I am better for it.
