Starbound doesn't load workshop mods when run from the taskbar

For a while now, I've been running Starbound via the taskbar (by pinning it on there). Recently, I got a new computer, and since then, every time I run Starbound via the taskbar, it does not load any mods from the workshop. I have to launch it through Steam. Any insights on what the problem could be?

are you launching the exe directly or the shortcut that opens it from Steam

also are you using oSB- you can toggle workshop mod loading with it

I'm not using oSB

seems like pinning it on the taskbar has it launch the exe directly

you pinned tthe exe instead of the steam shortcut

if you always want the exe to initialize steam stuff add a steam_appid.txt containing 211820 in the same folder as your exe <3
