how do i do this? i have the same problem as this reddit post , user taznuketerror said he fixed it by editing the character data

keep in mind it was the exact same mod i added and removed , was just wondering if someone here can help me with taz's fix?

Tanz left the community long ago. Silver Sokolova, the Betabound dev, can usually fix issues like that one. She's active in this discord.

@cold patrol hi! can you send your player file (or files, if you have multiple characters to fix)?
right-click SB on Steam, select 'properties', then 'browse local files'. Go to 'storage' then 'players' and send each file ending in .player
if there are no files ending in that, either drag and drop them randomly into Discord until the preview says it (it will show the full file name. probably) or enable file extensions
also send the exact error (even if it's the same as the one in the reddit thread) so I can get a guess for what data needs to be removed

In the storage folder, there are up to 6 text files, starbound.log, then starbound.log.1-5. The one without the number is the most recent one, the game always creates a new one every time it is run.
