for some reason my starbound 1.4 is not working. I think i messed up the files or something. and i tried to play starbound but it keep saying ERROR...

- Make sure Starbound has been completely closed, or is still closed after a crash
To find Starbound's files through Steam:
- Right-click Starbound from your Steam library
- Click 'Properties'
- Click 'Local Files'
- Click 'Browse Local Files'
If not on Steam, you know where you put it. So open its installation folder.
- Enter the 'Storage' folder

- Open Starbound.log in Notepad++ or similar (NOT DEFAULT NOTEPAD) https://i.imgur.com/913PMfv.png
- Copy the contents onto http://pastebin.com/
- Put the link to the log in chat

I have a feeling that you somehow modified the .pak file and corrupted it.
It contains the game's assets. You are not supposed to edit it in notepad.
Just reinstall the game and this should be fixed. (Make sure to back up your storage folder first though!)

Remove the local files via Steam and then desinstall the game, then you install it again I think
