#Modded masterpiece moment

have you tried temporarily removing the mods associated with 'physicalaura' to see if it would work
also are there any other mods you recently downloaded that could've caused this issue
i just subbed to a modpack and added a few more
i have next to no idea which mod contains 'physicalaura'
well nvm, i think i resolved it, it was apparently tied to a weapon gen mod
well, now i have a new issue
regarding a mod i downloaded
this mod apparently insta crashes your game if you uninstall it
and it did until i reinstalled it
any work around for this?
like seeing if the mod remained in the files and just have to delete it?
I am not sure what you mean. Some mods just can't be uninstalled while keeping your universe.
The reason the game crashes when you uninstall a mod like that is not because it hasn't properly been uninstalled, but exactly the opposite is the reason.
You no longer having the files the game uses is why you crash.
huh ok then, thanks
Someone reports though that after having removed the mod and removed their universe files, they still crashed.
In that case you can try deleting your ship or/and character.
it's also a good idea to read the description of the mod, unless it's just a sentence. From my experience with Starbound mods, most devs actually state something along the lines of "If you delete this mod it will break your game" If it didn't say that you probably should report it the dev
reporting it to the dev probably won't help when they haven't been active in five years (or at least they haven't updated any of their workshop items since 2017)
now i have a new issue which is causing my game to freeze and crash constantly
[Error] Application: exception thrown, shutting down: (AssetException) No such frame 'idle' found for alias 'idle.1'
no idea what this is supposed to mean
I'm not sure why that error would be fatal, but it means some .frames file has an alias keying idle.1 to idle, except there's no idle frame defined, and then the game tried to fetch idle.1 from that image.
oh very well, thanks
now i got a new issue, where i was just playing my game, and after one day, i cannot play my current save and was given this error
Fatal Error: Access violation detected at 00007FF61CD6166D (Read of address 00000000000000B8)
everything was fine, the game was running somewhat well, and at least it was playable. Then one day later it stopped working
@graceful sand It's always a good idea to post logs.
